Now with all this drama, I find myself worried that the story I finished for Lemon Crumble on Thursday will get overlooked because people associate her with drama now and feel reminded on the drama when seeing a story about her. Which is why I'm thinking about waiting for another week or so with releasing this story. But I'd like to get some input first.
If you would see a story about Lemon Crumble right now, would you go and read it? Or would you avoid it because it would remind you on the drama that is being created about her? And if you read it, do you think the drama that happens right now would negatively affect your enjoyment of the story?
If you can answer any of the last two questions with "Yes", I'd rather wait with releasing it so that the current drama won't cast a shadow on the story. Lemon Crumble deserves better.

The problem is I don't know what is better. I don't want to release the story at a time when it might not get as many reads because people associate Lemon Crumble with drama and don't want to hear about her right now. Then again, I wanted to release it yesterday already and only postponed it because I dealt with that drama. So I'm at a loss what to do right now.
I need to hear from my readers to see what they think.

It’s a good way to give Lemon Crumble some interesting character depth, whether she causes drama in the fandom or not. As for the drama the character is associated with; it’s just how most fandoms are.
