I just don't understand some people.....

I was only out to buy some simple things today. I had some change left and I went to a nearby park to give it to a homeless person. I couldn't find one and went back to the train station and mall where I started. A man was standing there in front of the entrance, with heavy luggage, a huge backpack and a big suitcase. He asked me for change and said he has no place to sleep. I was unsure about

    I miss these glorious Saturdays.....

I have seen this thread in the Crossover group about saturday morning cartoon openings (that's now deleted) in my feed and it triggered it..... The memory of the Saturdays when a new episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic aired. I miss these Saturdays..... Watching a new episode, waiting for an upload, downloading it, rewatching it 3 - 5 times, writing an analytical review of the episode

Selfishness has been my wrong motivator for the longest time..... and people don't see who I really am because of that.

A lot of people in the fandom don't understand who I am and think of me as a bad person. My friend sometimes does, too, and doesn't trust me anymore because of that. There have been moments when she literally asked me "Who are you?". I was always thinking this was stemming from trust issues that she developed because of events in her past and I was only marginally attributing the cause for this

2021 is the new 2020: Writing Plans for the First Half of the Year · 10:47pm Jan 10th, 2021

So, let's try this again, shall we? Last year, I had very similar writing plans and the coronavirus and the distractions it brought messed with all of them and jumbled everything and shook and mixed it into one big pile of chaos. But now there is a new year, new opportunities rise and I feel new organization and a lot more motivation coming back to my writing. The Hearth's Warming holidays relaxed me greatly, mostly thanks to the presence of the best friend a pony and foal can wish for, and that, combined with the start of the new year, gives me a newfound dedication to do all of the things that I was not able to do last year.
In short, I feel new ambitions, new hope and new power to make 2021 everything that 2020 couldn't be.

"Dreamwalker Dash", "Letters to Cozy Glow" and "A Storm on the Horizon of the Arcane World" will return with the new year and there will be steady updates of "Liza Doolots and the Candy Factory". I will also return to working on "Filed Away", so everyone who still misses this story from 2015 and eagerly awaited updates for it last year and is now disappointed, be not disappointed longer, cause the plans for this story are still real and in effect. Lastly, I will also resume work on "My Little Pony: Guardians of Crystal Growth" this year, make it bigger and better and bring it into the shape that it needs for a successful release.
Once more, like last year, I am the most worried about the reception of "Dreamwalker Dash", after a writer's block that came out of the shadows to haunt me and that teamed up with the coronavirus later, stole me a lot of time and also killed a lot of the motivation to write this story and left me with zero confidence that I can get out of the writer's block. But the motivation and confidence have returned and I hope that you will do the same when "Dreamwalker Dash" once again returns to updating. Hopefully for good this time.
Another thing I'll be doing is writing new stories for Season 9, something I'm still extremely eager for after the setbacks from last year made that nearly impossible in 2020 and after I could write only one new story for Season 9 with "Unsung Hero". Like the rest of my writing plans for last year, I want to rectify this and write the amount of new Season 9 stories that should have happened last year.

I have prepared a new, sorted list of writing plans for the first half of 2021, in the same design as the previous list because this worked so well, which will replace the old list from the end of 2019. If you need to read this list again later, you can always find it in the middle of my userpage.
Without further derps, here is the overview of my upcoming writing in the following months:

Dreamwalker Dash

I will resume work on "Dreamwalker Dash" tomorrow, with my usual pattern of writing a new chapter on Monday and Tuesday and releasing it on Wednesday.
Since I have skidded into writer's block with Chapter 9 and want to make sure that everything will be ready and also to give you some time to re-read the first eight chapters after the announcement of the story's return, the first new chapter release with Chapter 9 will happen on January 20th.
From this date onwards, the story will proceed with weekly updates. I will give you a reminder for the return of "Dreamwalker Dash" on the upcoming Wednesday and probably have a little teaser ready then.

.
.
Letters to Cozy Glow

"Letters to Cozy Glow" will return next week. As some of you who might read this blog entry have already been informed about when I caught up with responding on the story's comments on Friday, the first new chapter of "Letters to Cozy Glow" and the first chapter in 2021 will release on January 14th.
From then on, like with "Dreamwalker Dash", updates will happen weekly again, on every Thursday. I will give you a reminder for the story's return in two days, on Tuesday.

.
.
A Storm on the Horizon of the Arcane World

"A Storm on the Horizon of the Arcane World" is the story that suffered the most from the setbacks of last year. I can only make monthly updates with it until other projects are wrapped up, which makes it difficult for the story to receive attention, and it still got only two updates in 2020, near the beginning of the year.
But this is a condition that can't be allowed to become worse, so "A Storm on the Horizon of the Arcane World" will return in February for its monthly chapter. Chapter 4 will be released on February 7th and I will give you several progress updates and reminders throughout January.
After February 7th, there will be a new chapter on the first Sunday of each month again.

.
.
Liza Doolots and the Candy Factory

"Liza Doolots and the Candy Factory" is technically my Hearth's Warming Eve story from last year, which could only see one completed chapter before the holidays anymore, but I will keep writing it in the following months and I will try to have it finished before Spring comes.
The release of new chapters for this story is more free-flowing, I will write on it each Saturday, and a new chapter will get released once it's ready. I will announce each new chapter in a blog entry a few days prior to updating the story.

.
.
Filed Away

"Filed Away" is still stuck in its 2015 limbo. This was supposed to change last year and then didn't come to be, but last year's plans for this story will carry over into this year.
The plan is still to write on this story in alternation with "A Storm on the Horizon of the Arcane World", on Fridays and Sundays, when these days are not occupied by the former story. As well as to rewrite the prologue and to aim for 2 - 3 chapters each month.
Like last year, I cannot give a definite release date yet, but I will start working on "Filed Away" again on January 15th and I will make a separate announcement for the story's return once the release date is fixated.

.
.
Journeys and Destinations: A Friendship for Eternity

After the completion of "Filed Away", I will set my eyes on "Journeys and Destinations: A Friendship for Eternity" again. A story that is even older than "Filed Away" and the setbacks from last year are just the latest in a long series of mysterious setbacks for this story, ever since I started writing it during Season 4 after "Twilight Time" aired.
The concept for it is heavily outdated now, but I have collected grand ideas for it over the years and I hope to make it work and that I can garner new interest in a story that is set years ago, when Applebloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle didn't have their cutie marks yet, and in which their lives will take a drastically different turn from what we have seen in the show.
It's impossible to give a release date at the moment, but once I have resumed working on "Journeys and Destinations: A Friendship for Eternity", I will inform you about its progress.

My Little Pony: Guardians of Crystal Growth

My plans for "My Little Pony: Guardians of Crystal Growth" have changed another time. After the disastrous release attempt last year that failed and ultimately had to be cancelled, because I had to admit that I was not as well prepared for a project of that size as I had convinced myself I was, the show is going back to the drawing table. But the project is not dead, only interrupted, so I will start working on it again this year.
The Saturday slot that I had reserved for working on Season 1 of "My Little Pony: Guardians of Crystal Growth" last year is currently occupied by "Liza Doolots and the Candy Factory". Once this story is finished, I will use its writing slot to alternate between working on new stories and working on "My Little Pony: Guardians of Crystal Growth".
Regular updates about the progress of the show, including occasional teasers and WIP samples, will happen then.

.
.
The Marvelous, Life-Changing Discoveries of Silverstream, the Hippogriff

This story still remains without updates, as another consequence of the setbacks from last year. The release pattern of new chapters will remain entirely spontaneous, without a specific schedule, but "The Marvelous, Life-Changing Discoveries of Silverstream, the Hippogriff" might pick up pace once "Liza Doolots and the Candy Factory" has been finished.
If a new chapter has been written, I will make an announcement a few days in advance so that you can be prepared.

.

.
And after this? Who knows. We look at an exciting year with 2021. In Autumn, a new "My Little Pony" movie will get released and we will probably hear the first, concrete infos about Generation 5 throughout this year. And we will finally learn whether Generation 5 is going to be a reboot of the franchise or a sequel of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. And I still greatly hope for a sequel.
Everyone wants something new to explore, all of you want that and I want that as well, but I very much consider Equestria as my home and I want to learn new things about it. And even in a sequel, there will be plenty of new things to explore. Equestria and its world are a huge place and there is much we don't know yet. You will not be disappointed with a sequel.
And if we get a sequel, I can imagine myself writing a story for the first, detailed teaser already..... And if not, if a reboot is what we'll get, I will still remain a G4 pony author. Fans and followers of G4 will always find exciting stories by me here, as long as FIMFiction.net exists.

Stay easy as a filly!
