In case any of you didn't know, or haven't checked my main page, I'm back from my hiatus. I came back in October and have been hard at work getting things in order again. Anyway, onto what you care about.

As I put the final touches on the Harmonic Resonance epilogue—it will launch tonight, and if you’d like to see what the resulting personality might look like if Twilight and Midnight Sparkle merged, check out the opening section—it’s time to turn our attention to Autumn, to Halloween... and at long last, back to my long-languishing Unleash the Magic stories.

It's now with prereaders with the working title of Agni Kai, for its Avatar - The Last Airbender-inspired firebending battle—though that's far from the only thing it references. It's currently coming in at just shy of 16k words, meaning it'll probably be over 17k by the time I'm through with editing passes and all the additional detail I usually add.
Thanks to what I think is severe tendonitis in my elbow due to excessive weightlifting, for which I’m seeing an orthopedist. Nevertheless, it doesn’t stop me from typing, so my writing continues. As promised previously, I’ll be moving right along into the final ascension chapter of Harmonic Resonance involving the human Twilight, which I plan to finish within a week. And it would be a lie to say I don't feel some anxiety over it. Still some work to do, from writing the Author's Notes to the introductory blog. It's been a six-week journey coming to an end tomorrow... or maybe it's only beginning. How, I can't help but wonder, will it be received? You just never know. It might be a huge hit--you don't see much griffon/human action on site, so this could certainly be filling a neglected niche--or it could end up flopping and doing damage to the main story in
I’m waiting a couple more days to give the rest of my prereaders more chance to hit it. Be warned that I did decide to break up the chapter again, so you’ll essentially be getting part 1 of Queen Moly vs Dragon Lord Vesuvius with a lot of additional commentary—and a major revelation or two—from the Humane 6 peanut gallery as Sunset continues to tell the tale.
It’s going to be draft complete by tonight at what I'm guessing will be somewhere around 11k words, at which point it's off to prereaders following one initial editing pass. But as so often happens in my writing, the chapter got too big for its wingboners and I couldn't put everything I wanted into it without doubling the length. I suppose I could do that, but as my general clopfic philosophy remains that heavy M-rated chapters should be careful not to do too much at once, the griffon chapters
Though I’ve been tempted in the past to do joke chapters of my more serious stories for April Fools Day, when it comes down to it, my writing talents simply don’t include effectively pulling off that kind of parody. In fact, the only author I ever knew who was good at that kind of humor was the long-gone and still-lamented Denim_Blue. I asked him once or twice if he could write an April Fools Day prank chapter of Firefly as a guest author of sorts, but he declined and then eventually

As the title said I'm pulling what TV channels often do with their shows and that have a winter break once December ends. This month you will get episode 5 of Journey To Hearth's Warming as well with other stuff and then Journey To Hearth's Warming will be going on to hiatus until March, but that doesn't
It will launch when I get up on Memorial Day, which is Monday morning (a three day weekend! 
). First full editing pass on the ten chapter side story is complete, and a second one is planned. I also need to flesh out the final two chapters by about 1000 more words to bring them up to what I consider ideal clopfic chapter length. That aside, I've already got the story cover prepared:

I think I’ve mentioned before that mine is chronically low, so every four months, I get a fresh infusion of it in the form of implanted pellets a couple inches to the left or right of my tailbone. Prereads are in, and they’re favorable, with the chapter currently weighing in at 14.8k words. So I’ll be launching the chapter tonight after one more editing pass. And looking ahead, the next C&C chapter is at 7100 words and growing. It’ll probably be double that when all is said and done, at least for the M-rated version. Just as before, the T-rated version will be considerably less, but still have substantial content that shows the (figurative) climax of the Gilda vs Cipio battle, and set
Every once in a while, your muse kicks in, and then you get on this writing roll and can’t stop. Today was a such a day, as I took my new Firefly chapter from 1600 words all the way to draft complete at 9300 words. So at this point, you can expect it to launch by midweek and probably be in the neighborhood of 10.5k words after all prereads are in and all my editing passes are complete. As this is the fifth of six promised chapters by summer, this also means there should be no issue with

For those of you that care, updates on TIOCHS are going to be slowing down... a tad. So far, I've kept my original promise of two updates per week (even more if you count the intermissions, but I don't). Unfortunately, school slammed into me like a sack of bricks, and despite my best efforts, my backlog of chapters has run rather dry, and, to be honest, I have some more important things in my life than my shot-in-the-dark fanfiction.
