In some pain... · 3:56pm Jul 16th, 2022
Thanks to what I think is severe tendonitis in my elbow due to excessive weightlifting, for which I’m seeing an orthopedist. Nevertheless, it doesn’t stop me from typing, so my writing continues. As promised previously, I’ll be moving right along into the final ascension chapter of Harmonic Resonance involving the human Twilight, which I plan to finish within a week. In fact, I want to finish off the entire story, including the concluding post-ascension chapter, by month’s end, which gives me two weeks to do it.
After that, I do want to move to Midnight Rising, but I’m also thinking I owe readers of Feathered Hearts a continuation of the story, especially given the last part left off on a cliffhanger. So I will probably do another chapter of that in early August as our heroes attempt to reach safety at Aricia. It’ll basically be the rewrite of chapter 9 of the original story in order to merge back into it.
Highlights will include the flight of Gilda and Fortrakt as they try to fly the Ibex summoning crystals to a succession of Steadholts in order to save everyone, and even possible gunplay involving them as Chris and Marco offer up their pistols for the effort. But before folks get too excited, I haven’t fully decided on that given the practical difficulties of it. One thing I have decided on is that there will be casualties—that certain events that happened in the original version of the story in earlier chapters but were skipped in the new version will be invoked here. The reason for that is I don’t want to get too far afield of the original Feathered Heart given I did promise that the eventual continuation would work with either version of the story.
More information on this later. In the meantime, Midnight Rising readers are invited to check out the crazy Equestria Girls action of Harmonic Resonance if they haven’t already, and know that I still intend to return to Midnight Rising by mid-August.

While waiting for the story to continue, Feathered Hearts readers are likewise encouraged to check out the epic pony/griffon war action of the Firefly series, including the just-finished Into the Storm saga. When I say it’s epic, it’s epic, folks. If you like my combat scenes, this has them aplenty. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s the best damn war series on fimfiction.
That’s your weekly update. Hope everyone has a good weekend, and I’ll provide more information and even teasers about upcoming releases as they come available.
Been there, done that, it sucks. Swelling caused nerve constriction, and I had pins and needles all down my hand.
Of course it was 'severe tendonitis in your elbow due to excessive weightlifting'. Its hard not to read through
'Harmonic Resonance'
And suffer anything else
At least the walls don't need new painting.
But perhaps severe dehydration might make the occurance more likely
All jokes aside, get better soon and thanks for the updates

I’m not that bad, thankfully, but it still sucks.

Good point!
Always hydrate before entering the desert or reading my clopfics, because both involve a lot of heat!
You’re welcome! Look forward to hearing what you think of the new chapter.
Bout time I start checking your blogposts, whew.
Good to see you're still doing alright despite the tendonitis dude.
I need to binge read the other fics you've done, lmao, it's been a while since I've managed to sit down properly and read something.
