Plans for Cloptober · 3:12pm Sep 29th, 2022
As I put the final touches on the Harmonic Resonance epilogue—it will launch tonight, and if you’d like to see what the resulting personality might look like if Twilight and Midnight Sparkle merged, check out the opening section—it’s time to turn our attention to Autumn, to Halloween... and at long last, back to my long-languishing Unleash the Magic stories.
Long-thirsty fans of the series will be happy to know that I’m giving October over to both Midnight Rising and Nightmare Night. Work on the revamped Midnight Rising resumes shortly after a long hiatus, opening with Middie exploring what the Griffons have to offer both societally and sexually, and making a surprising discovery along the way.
You may recall at the end of the last chapter, the Griffies were revealed to her by Juniper Neptune. She opened a portal directly into the Hall of Heroes that’s been seen before over in Feathered Hearts, and needless to say, Midnight will like what she sees. What happens in the coming chapter will also have implications later on in Nightmare Night, as you can bet our favorite dark goddess has indeed been keeping a few secrets. I don’t think it’s really a spoiler to say that those secrets include her plans for breaking free of Twilight’s constraints and wresting Equestria from Eclipse.
As for Nightmare Night, get ready for the long-awaited confrontation between Sunset and Eclipse. I plan to incorporate some reader feedback in the comments there regarding what might be discussed/argued between them, but as neither is going to back down here, it’ll end in a battle of magical might. And this is one time where Sunset has a distinct advantage over Starlight, not so much because she has greater power but a much larger arsenal of magic to draw from, to say nothing of a familiarity with fighting these type of foes. But how can she match a curse-corrupted Eclipse’s overwhelming power...?
The answer has already been hinted at a couple times in earlier chapters, but suffice it to say, this is an instance where one of her old self’s failed plans to gain power may finally come to fruition. But will it be enough...?
You’ll find out at month’s end. The objective for the month is to produce at least one chapter of each story, with Midnight Rising coming first and Nightmare Night updating on or a little before Halloween. But I also reserve the right to work on Feathered Hearts: Continuation and Chronicles when I need a break from clop, and for those curious, the first 600 or so words are already down on the next chapter. The Cloven are on the way, and they don’t have much time to get ready.
Bottom line: both epic clop and epic combat lie ahead, so whichever of my stories you follow, get ready for a wild ride. And for fans of Midnight Rising especially, I invite you to check out Harmonic Resonance for an equal level of Equestria Girls-based erotic insanity—the girls turn into goddesses with varied powers via tentacle sex—as well as to see how Twilight and Midnight Sparkle finally reconciled into one being.

And if you need even more incentive to read it, I came up with a means by which our favorite girls-turned-goddesses can look in on other realities (read: other stories), including the Unleash the Magic one. They have some surprising opinions about it, and about some other verses they see along the way. Oh, and look for another hint of future Feathered Hearts events in the final chapter.
