New Midnight Rising chapter at 9366 words and rising...

It’s going to be draft complete by tonight at what I'm guessing will be somewhere around 11k words, at which point it's off to prereaders following one initial editing pass. But as so often happens in my writing, the chapter got too big for its wingboners and I couldn't put everything I wanted into it without doubling the length. I suppose I could do that, but as my general clopfic philosophy remains that heavy M-rated chapters should be careful not to do too much at once, the griffon chapters will be broken in two.

Don't worry, there's still a ton of stuff crammed into this one, as I've really gone to town on it. What can I say? Between writing the Firefly series and Feathered Hearts, I love the griffies. And I especially like a certain birdie boi familiar to readers of C&C and Eros.

So for those Feathered Hearts - Eros readers who haven't read Midnight Rising, I'll try to entice you to read with a spoiler that a slightly younger Fortrakt Gletscher will be featured heavily in this chapter. He's exactly as you remember him from Feathered Hearts—an earnest and honorable griffon who just happens to have a major hard-on for exhibitionism and violating various taboos. Like me, in other words.

There is, however, one content warning I want to give now: there will be some underage griffons involved in this chapter. I admit I'm slightly nervous about that, but at the same time, it doesn't make any sense that a) there wouldn't be any present in the Hall of Heroes, and b) that Midnight's magic would somehow skip them, or c) that Midnight, who revels in breaking the rules, would even care.

By site rules, underage is allowed as long as it's not involving humans, and this won't. This, of course, opens various possibilities like incest, and you can bet I plan to avail myself of that. It will not be a particularly major part of the chapter, but it will be mentioned and earn at least a few paragraphs of description. So you are warned. Full chapter content advisory follows, spoilered:

Chapter will contain: Singularity-stripped and magically aroused griffon soldiers and civilians resulting in involuntary and deliberate exhibitionism, the usual cock, teat and ball growth, plenty of wingboners, a strong measure of mind control, a very surprising manner of self-sex, teat-on-teat and cock-on-cock action, a lot of bukakke, sexually subjugated soldiers, all manner of FF, MF and MM pairings, brief cub-on-parent and sibling-on-sibling incest of various ages and flavors, a magically induced griffon orgy, griffon talons on human breasts, and even the Hall of Heroes statues made sexually excited. You will also see side action consisting of our two Principals and Dean with students, Big Mac being remotely penetrated by a large stallion courtesy of Impala magic, and Juniper Neptune leading Midnight at least slightly by the nose for as yet unknown reasons.

If underage is a bridge too far for some folks, I apologize. The point will be made in the chapter directly, but by my headcanon, the griffons themselves don't care so much about age or incest when it comes to sex as whether they can properly fight a mating round and thus earn the right to mate. Will this also apply over in Feathered Hearts? In a word: yes!

Anyway, at this point we're looking at a late weekend release or maybe Monday. I'm happy to say that I'm off next week on a staycation, and plenty of writing will be done, as I plan to work on both the second Midnight Rising griffon chapter and a new C&C chapter. The Cloven are on the way, and they intend to crush our heroes no matter the cost. Worse, they have the numbers and modified tactics to do it.

So you have both heavy clop and heavy combat to look forward to—what else do you need? It’s going to be a busy month, folks, especially on approach to Halloween. Trick or Treat, and hope you enjoy what’s coming!
