As per the usual, I've been a bit behind on pony cartoons. And also apparently the next three episodes have been leaked in Australia? Or something? I can only presume the brony version of Ned Kelly is involved.
Regardless. I just watched "Friendship University." While sipping vodka. Some thoughts:
Because we live in a day and age where tiny childrens need to be taught to beware of for-profit universities.
I could make a Phantom of the Opera joke here but there are some depths that even I will not sink to.

I guess we may never know the fate of CN I heard nothing, but all I see is yes and no of its existence, but most is disheartening. So I don't know.

I binge-watched the first 10 episodes yesterday and holy cow, that was one of the most intriguing cartoons I've ever watched. It has a lot of dark and emotional moments as it deals mostly with trying to accept change, self-reflection, coping with loss, and the stages of grief.
Have some good ol' fashioned Bugs Bunny to complement the occasion.

First off, looks like INEVITABILITY made it to the featured box. Woo! (It's still there if you turn on your Mature filter, even. Guess people like butts more than they do weird metatext crossover fiction). Go figure.
And also, as a bit of a surprise, NEW PONE. That I only found out about 'cause PresentPerfect blogged about it. Blame him.

I should not have to refer to myself officially as "an oldster," but considering the average age of the fandom I suppose I qualify.
So, before some of you out there were born, there was another well-written, well-animated cartoon out there... though far less pastel-equine oriented.
