Another surprise from last night's video game news. We're getting a video game for Blade, the vampire hunter of the Marvel Universe.
From the same studio who gave us "Dishonored" and "Deathloop". I'd like to think that this means the Daywalker is in good hands.
This week, it’s Pink Burton’s The Christmas Before Nightmare Night.
MONDAY: KSP Hard Mode
(I flew a bunch of boring tourist missions since last Wednesday, so now we can begin with the long-awaited Mun flyby... which SHOULD be easy, buuuuuut.... Anyway, the money from that should be enough to unlock EVAs, which means both science mining AND Kerbal rescues/recruiting!
WEDNESDAY: KSP Hard Mode
Depends on what contracts we pick up Monday, but we'll be looking for Mun/Minmus landing contracts.
FRIDAY: SPECIAL! XCOM Long War
Following my cursing Friendship One, I somehow managed to crack [sic] out this first draft of potential idiocy:
To say CMDR Flood was at a loss was... well probably an overstatement, given the losses she would be at later on in life. Actually, when you thought about it, she was indeed at a loss, just not as big as the losses looming in her future.
Oh boy. This one. No episode can compare when it comes giving me mixed feelings. I won’t air the longer years-old grievances unless someone actually wants to hear them, but in my book, this is the iffiest finale. Let’s take a closer look.
Welcome back everyone to my NSR review and... well it's certainly been a little bit, hasn't it? Well rest assured I'm back and ready to continue. Today we'll be looking at The Golden Maestro of Vinyl City. NSR's one and only child prodigy, Yinu.
Life's taken me to many places this year and as of late, the places it's taken me have been nothing but the best. However, these past few days, I've diverged to an area I've not been to with any level of genuine enthusiasm in several years: the world of Pokémon.
One year ago today, I decided to share the cards I made of the Season 4 premiere. As such, this seems like the perfect time to provide a quick and easy way to access everything that's resulted since. The following is a hyperlinked rundown of every Friendship is Card Games blog, both those written and those yet to come. If you don't see something here, either I haven't gotten to it yet, or I've been a bit lazy in updating this particular blog. Feel free to yell at me about that if it isn't a
Warning: the following contains spoilers for Friendship games and possibly the season 5 finale and is very very VERY long
( not that anyone is gonna read this anyway)
I've come to the realization that the marketing team behind the show has to cut the showrunners slack. Between teaser trailers and merchandise, the fandom's ability to enjoy the show itself is being damaged.
Welcome all to the second part of the OC Hunger Games! Now not only will this blog reveal the last winners of round two, but it will also detail the next challenge that was actually inspired by one of the contestants' stories and an idea that a contestant shared with me. But right now, let's focus on the winners of Round 2
Last time it was revealed that JumpingShinyFrogs, Crescent Blade, and Smaug the Golden were the winners of the round. Joining them is... Wait, breaking news folks!
Due to family reasons, I'm away from my computer and forced to write this with my phone. So I'll keep this short and sweet.
Now I have some good news, as a thank you to those who are still in the competition, you all get a day off tomorrow. But on Monday, it's back to business.
Anyway, here's the results to round 3. Another thing is this round will only have one person eliminated. With that, let's begin.
The rain hissed down like a nest of snakes, a good match for this city. The only ponies you can trust here are the ones who’ve helped you fire rainbow friendship lasers, and Celestia knows those are few and far between. This is a dirty city, and there’s a mare here who has a thing about cleanliness. She’s trouble, but all dames are. Let’s investigate.
Here's a litmus test to see how long someone's watched the show and/or how well they know the fandom.
See if they get this joke.
I did say I was going to review Friendship Games, didn't I? My bad. I meant to, but studies piled up quick with the extra hours at work, plus a few personal events, kept that from happening. To put it simply, Friendship Games was okay. Not abysmal like the first film, but not quite as awesome as Rainbow Rocks. My main peeves are the lacking screentime for the Shadowbolts and the ending (Geez, Twi, reconcile with your squad at CP, not transfer to CHS).
