I—The Inapplicability of Rules for Writers
I am really talkative this month, so many blog posts....
Well, the series finale has aired, and with it, the show has come to an end. A part of me is sad, but I'm also glad it actually got to do a proper finale instead of just being cancelled.
Found this on youtube. I watched this when it first came out in the mid-'90s, but haven't seen it since the early 2000s when I think Toon Disney was showing it. Fortunately, Disney+ has and it's on my list.
OK. For the record, I'm being completely serious with this.
After a long, long, long, long, long, long time of letting my pride get the better of me, the Plot Bunnies have finally worn me down.
I bit the bullet...and am now watching the show. Specifically, I just got through the first episode of Season 1 and...it wasn't bad.
Not as bad as I expected anyway.
It's well known that the show has been a growing disaster for years. The fandom is much smaller than it used to be with far less engagement of all kinds, and Hasbro is unwilling to acknowledge that they royally screwed up with MLP. In all honesty I'm shocked I'm still here at all considering the last episode I watched was in season 5, but at the end of the day I just haven't found anything more substantial to take my time. That said, I've always been happier giving constructive criticism
Opening to Disc 1, which has scratches (all of them not interfering). This is the first video that I did using the Bandicam; I tried using the webcam for this but . . . can you say "failure?" I know you can!

Well, I'm not going to sugarcoat it. This likely wasn't the best review to pick before the end of 2019.
But, having seen plenty of this series's episodes on YouTube to last me a lifetime, I'm making my 17th TV show review on "The Pink Panther". The series that aired from 1993 to 1996 to be exact.
