Why is is that no matter how many contest I enter I still get the same nervous/excited feeling every single time?

This will be a short one.

I am currently bound to my bed. My right side is more or less paralyzed and I am in a lot of pain every time I try to move it. Sounds scary, I know. Luckily, it´s nothing serious. The doctor said something about nerves stuck between muscles and bones, but he also said that it can be fixed in a few days. I will be on my feet in no time, if nothing goes wrong.

So, I've written one my headcanons down and like always, it ends up something totally different than what I initially intended to write. I've had this story completed since this past Sunday but I've been looking it over meticulously because I am incredibly nervous of putting myself out there and don't want to give off the impression that I'm lazily connecting to the source material.
