You know what they say about the best laid plans? I'll be real brief with this update, for reasons that will be self-evident.

Another month, albeit the shortest of the year. I still haven't had a chance to get into the process side of my writing and write that detailed plan for the year, been too busy writing a novel. Guess that's a good problem to have.

This is exactly the 71st month I've posted a patreon calendar. Almost but not quite six years of writing fanfic, sharing all these ideas with you that would otherwise stay trapped in my head. I couldn't begin this post, and the beginning of a new year without expressing my profound thanks to everyone who keeps supporting me. Your help, big or small, is the only reason I'm still able to write

Fine Print Hardcover: 3 days left! · 12:26am May 15th, 2021

Hello everyone! Just thought I'd drop one final reminder that the Fine Print hardcover adaptation is nearing the end of its funding period. The book was funded on the first day, but if anyone reading this has been putting it off, time is about to run out.

To review, this is a single hardcover run of a 480page, full color version of Fine Print. It includes a second epilogue short story, about 5 chapters long and taking place a year after the end of Fine Print. It also includes over 60 illustrations created for the story. I'll be printing the books as soon as the campaign ends. The typesetting is complete, and we're now in the polishing phase, just waiting on cover layout and font before going to print. Here's a sneak peek at how the front cover is looking:

If you'd like to get a copy of the book yourself, you have the next 3 days to pledge. There might be some extra books left over when the campaign ends, but I can't guarantee the supply. Once I sell them all, they're gone.

If you'd like to get a copy, feel free to grab a book here: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/fine-print-hardcover-publication/x/20354232#/ .
And if anyone would like a book but can't use indiegogo's payment options, PM me. We can work it out through paypal instead.

But that's everything! This is the last time I'll advertise the print. I might post once more when I do fulfillment next month, since there's shaping out to be an absolute crapton of books. Thanks to everyone who has already backed so far for helping me make this book a reality. I can't wait to see it on my shelf.

Pledged to this in the first hour when you put it up, can't wait to add this to my bookshelf!

i did the same i am sitting hear just weighting.

Oh, wow! That is an awesome-looking cover!

Wish I could buy it. I’d really love a Fine Print story with comments section not attached.

Lol, me too. Though only the last chapter. Things were mostly on topic before that.

There’s also the LGBT+ argument that I’d presume is still going on, but I’m too scared to check.

I had already commissioned a friend to buy me a signed copy of the book, but the shipping was also exactly $35, otherwise I could have bought an extra copy as a gift for my friend.

I can't wait to have it on my bookshelf!

I want to get this book but I have no money even if I did I don't have a way of getting the money to where the money needs to be so if it ends up in a store some day I will probably get it. lol I need to get a job

Whelp, I'm a new reader and I've only made it to chapter 6 buuuut. Heck, I'll bite. XD

If the shipping costs wouldn't almost double the price, than I would buy it, but so it's too expansive for me.:fluttercry:

Looking forward to seeing my copy arrive.

Thanks for the reminder. It’s one the first fanfiction books I’ve ever ordered. I’m looking forward to seeing it.

Yeah, sorry about that. international shipping is outrageously expensive--even moreso now that we're living in a post-covid world. It's $5 if you live in the states, and fairly cheap if you live in the UK or Australia. Anywhere else, and the price can mount. X.x

Well, maybe things look different for me when you print the next storry.

can't believe I just spotted this well past the date. I would have gotten one had i known!

You can still order on the site, at least until I run out of books. I'm still waiting for the proof book to make it to me from the publisher, so I haven't yet placed the final print order.

Thanks, I ended up having my wife order me a copy while I was out on business. Never thought I'd see the day I'd have a professional quality printed book from one of my fav authors on fim. definitely cause for celebration.

Received my copy of the book today and it looks great!

I still have not gotten mine

PM me with your contribution number and I can look up where it is.

Unless you ordered quite recently (like the last 2 weeks) you should have your book by now if it's a US order.
If it's an international order, I have tracking on some and not on others. We can figure out if it's on the way, or if I need to send a replacement.

Any possibility of it one day hitting Lulu (or some similar website) for a print-on-demand release?
