A New Year with New Stories and works in progress · 5:07am Jan 5th, 2021
I’ve been loafing at home for the last few weeks, got to visit the grandchild, picked up a cold and a negative Covid test. Now it’s back to the grind, but first, in the tradition of Bad Horse’s Bedtime Stories for Impressionable Young Colts and Fillies, we have a new chapter: Hearth’s Warming Caper. In addition, Aether Spark has a new story called Friendship is Absolute Chaos, which I’ve been helping edit. (and edit, and edit).
(far too many) Works in Progress: -Farmer Bruener Has Some Ponies is on a bit of a hold right now, but I’ll get back to it.
-Letters From a Little Princess Monster is still chugging away. It’s just darned hard to write a complicated fight scene like this, but I’ll get there.
-Sweetie Belle - Hogwarts Exchange Student - It’s going, but I’m having a writing sticky point on where Sweetie Belle goes into the main hall for the first time.
-The Substitute Librarian has a lot of fun going into it, but I’m not publishing until I get a full arc done.
Unpublished so far:
- The Last Nightguard - (four chapters in) A much darker view of Princess Luna’s return, and the pegasus guard who was trapped within her moon for a thousand years.
- Two space-based stories I’m doodling on

Glad you got to visit the grand-monster over the holidays.
Just remember, you blink and they are off to college so invest your time wisely in making them incorrigible. Grandkids are truly the best revenge upon your children!
