The Last Nightguard - Shifting Gears - When your story changes in the middle · 2:53am May 4th, 2022

Yes, that’s a problem. If you write two different stories with glue in the middle, the people who like the first part will stop at the second part, and the people who would like the second part won’t even start. I’m not Max with his Being a Better Writer series, but I’m going to toss out some examples and maybe this will help us both.

Still Alive and Kicking (despite myself) · 5:23am Feb 5th, 2021

Ok, summary above the break so it’s less annoying for people. Covid sucks, writing on too many stories slows each individual story updates AND tends to get you stuck at the difficult parts on each of them, and never watch the news when sick.

In actuality, they each carry a 'seed' of the opposite school while writing, because the pantsers have a vague plot sketched

The Last Nightguard is coming (so is winter) · 2:42am Oct 11th, 2022

I've just finished writing the troublesome bits of Chapter 24, and all that is left is editing.  That's not to say I'm going to punch Publish on Tuesday and start putting out a chapter a day because editing takes a lot of time. (Trust me, unedited Me is a horrid mess)  Unfortunately, that means the Nightmare Night chapter won't come out on Halloween.  Fortunately, the time it took me to write the tough spot gave Harwick time to finish up a commission.  Here's a sneak peek, as well as a chunk of
