How to Read the Love Bug Continuity, a Guide! · 4:29am May 31st, 2020

Those who remember my extensive lore blog going over my in-depth headcanons regarding the modern changelings, and how that lore fits into my written buggo universe, may remember that it mentioned the fanfics that are included in the 'Love Bug Continuity'.
Certain readers approached me with suggestions for a list, which makes me realize that, in retrospect, including a reading recommendation list at the end of a massive lore blog probably wasn't very effective. 
So, I've removed that section of the old blog and made a more flushed out version, here. 
Recommended Reading Order:
1: The King of Love Bugs. Contains blurbs before certain chapters that recommend certain side stories as optional reads prior to those chapters. See below.
- To Love as His Own. Can be read before KoLB, but is also effective as a flashback, read between chapters 3 and 4. Introduces Apex and builds off the season six finale. Is a mentioned tie-in story.
- Changelings are like Plushies, They're Made for Hugs!. Gives more focus on Calor before his large role in the final arcs of KoLB. Read between chapters 21 and 22. Is a mentioned tie-in story.
Important Note: The remainder of stories within The Love Bug Continuity do not directly relate to the main story, instead simply taking place in the same headcanon universe. Follow the list and added notes for more information on chronology, as each story is different!
2: The Patter of Rain and/or its rewrite, Rain Curfews. Both take place sometime between To Love as His Own and The King of Love Bugs. *Rain Curfews acts as an earlier introduction to Calor.
3: From Your Brother, with Love. Takes place some time before the events of No Place Like Home - Part 1 (KoLB, chapter 13), and is meant as a follow-up to the episode, 'To Change a Changeling'.
4 & 5: Lingering Shadows & Mine is Dorkier than Yours. Both take place some time after the events of No Place Like Home - Part 1 (KoLB, chapter 13).
6: To Hold, and to Cherish. Takes place some time after the events of One Does Not Simply Nap Alone in a Changeling Hive (KoLB, chapter 20).
Definitely have to keep in mind when I FINALLY START READING THE DAMN STORY.

I'll try to keep that in mind. And I'll try to read them. Your stories are pretty interesting. :)
I was wondering what was the best order to read them all in. It is a bit weird since the first story is still technically in progress but as long as the stories are cute and heartwarming who cares?
