As Equestria is pounded by torrents of summer rain, the changelings take shelter in the dry comfort of their hive. Detained from the outside world until the sky clears, a pair of adolescent drones come across King Thorax, reflecting on past events and future possibilities as he listens to the rain.

Wow. That was great. That was a truly great one-shot, and that's coming from me, a guy who doesn't care for one-shots. I love Thorax in this, such a great character as the king of lovecuddlebugs in this story. Well done author, well done.

This was a very cute one-shot indeed, Navel, thank you so much for writing it for our Poniverse contest! The grammar and spelling were impeccable, and while not much overall happened, it was a very cute look inside the changeling Hive post-reformation, and I enjoyed the wide variety of reactions to their societal changes that we saw. Thorax himself had this fatherly calm about him that seemed to fit what we've seen in the show of him so far as the changeling leader, which was probably my favorite aspect of the fic. Overall, a lovely little one shot and a great addition to our contest, thank you very much for the delightful read! :scootangel:

This was a nice sequel.

Nice lovebug story. This needs more attention.

It was interesting seeing Thorax have some one-on-(mostly) one time with an otherwise random changeling. The getting-to-know-you process must have taken ages for him, and this definitely sounds like an important step for those who were more along Pharynx's line of thinking at first. Very nice!
