Goodness, it’s been almost two years since I last checked in on Trailblazer’s adventures. IDW putting out comics almost as quickly as I could review them will do that, especially given all of the G5 video media coming out concurrently.
I have an interesting dilemma with an upcoming story, and thus I turn to the Fimfic public (or that portion of it that sees these blogs) for its wisdom.

Though making another 5 color manabase is going to sting, I'm almost certainly putting together a Twilight commander deck, with all the cards representing characters from the show she'd call on for help, spells she would cast, etc. Morophon as Thorax, Tree of Redemption as the Tree of Harmony, Palace Familiar as Owlowisious, etc. I might tap you (heh) for ideas.

As previously noted, I am super lazy. It's like regular lazy plus a cape and a circus strongman costume (yes, that's where the "underwear on the outside" look originally came from, look it up if you don't believe me)

This story is so good. And by 'good' I mean catering specifically to my more pg-rated fetishes and emotional and narrative needs. But hey, maybe other people will like it too.
I'm afraid I need to pull out of the contest. I've had family visiting, and my job's going to be busy enough I don't think I'll finish my story.

I'm definitely feeling this at the moment! I have a great idea. I even have a rough chapter outline. But the actual paragraphs just Will. Not. Come.
But I will persevere!
As for the pony cards... I wants them, I waaannntttsss them. I even has a USian MtG friend to whom I'm sure I could arrange for them to be posted. But I don't think I would actually find opportunities to play them, and to have them sitting in a binder would... well, it would still be very cool, but it'd also be disappointing.

The cards went on sale at noon EDT, and for now they're still available. Hopefully there are a lot more cards than playmats.
I ordered four copies, because ponies.
I just bought 2 of the card sets, so it's looking like they're going to last a fair bit longer than the playmats. This is also a somewhat refreshing change from the nonsense that was the last big promos (namely the HASCON promos and the Mythic Edition). Being able to show up four hours late and finish my purchase from a competent webstore is not something I usually expect from Hasbro
Meh, I got the official crossover polyhedral dice, because that's my nerddom. These I'll pass on.
