Fimfiction killed one of my best jokes. D: See also: tagged story.

I have fixed this so it at least makes sense, but it doesn’t look right. :C It is now for-real fixed, thanks to Exuno! :D Will report further changes as things progress.

According to Dave_Bryant’s latest journal, and confirmed when I checked out OCTASCRATCH’s text, the new change that makes it so you can specify whether you want to see stories indented or double-spaced between paragraphs just sort of ignores all whitespace. And that includes both extra returns and ‘paragraphs’ that are just a single space, which is what I tried to use to fix before putting ellipses in. :C

you should be able to use a non-breaking-space-character, e.g. " " from what I’ve heard. Try copying that and let me know?

That’s a much better option than the strategy of hiding your ellipses with white text and hand-setting everything else to black text that I was thinking of.

okay, actually playing with it, it looks like a nbsp won’t count as a paragraph by itself, and neither will a bbcode tag, but combining a tag with an EMspace ( ) will. So, uh, [i] [/i] is your best bet.
