PSA: Don't Write Clopfics for This Guy · 4:20am Sep 26th, 2016
There's a guy going around asking for people to write him clop, and here's why you should not do that.
A few days ago, I was contacted by a user asking for me to write him a clopfic of his OC having sex with his girlfriend's OC. I was fine with that, up until the point where he said he had no money but he would pay me double if he could. 
(Screenshot below) Furthermore, the horrible grammar made me think that he was pretty young, so I asked if he was under 18, the legal age to have sex in the US, aaaaaand he admitted that he, bronypony880, is in fact, only 15 years old, and he's going around asking as many people as he can to write him clopfics or draw him art for free.
Don't do this. (I'm referring to two things: Don't go around asking for free stuff from a lot of people at once, AND don't ever write porn for a minor, which should be common sense.)
If the authorities found out, anyone who wrote a clopfic for this guy could most likely be charged with "Corrupting a Minor", so I obviously said no. Having a charge like that could really fuck up your life, especially if you're just finishing high school or college. I made this blog so others do not make that mistake, because it is a hell of a lot better to be safe than sorry.

And when I told him to fuck off after he insulted me, he sent me another message threatening to get a picture of Nightshine, my adorable and favorite bat pony OC, being "brutally tortured to death," all because he didn't get his way.
Naturally, I cannot stop minors from reading the clopfics that I write. I know I can't get in legal trouble for that, but intentionally writing porn for a minor while knowing their age is completely different. There is absolutely no reason for anyone to write porn for a minor, and I pray that this kid will come to his senses and stop trying to get as many people as he can to write and draw him free stuff.
With the way he treated me, I don't see any reason for you to do anything for this guy.

People like this are one of the reasons the internet can be terrifying, and the only reason he's this bold is because everything is anonymous. I can practically guarantee he wouldn't pull this shit with whoever his guardian is.

4227289 Well, it's kinda like begging for change on the street. Sometimes you might get someone to give you a little bit of change, while others might give you a lot of money. Asking random people to write you a story will most likely lead to getting a negative response, and there's nothing wrong in asking people to write you something. It's how you ask, you know?
Also, why not try writing something for yourself? All it takes is 1k words, and that's not that much if you think about it, especially if you write 100 words a day for 10 days. Fimfiction has a great writing guide, found here: http://www.fimfiction.net/writing-guide, and if you read some books and see how they structure their stuff, you can easily get some cool stuff published here.
And who knows? You could make it to the New York Times bestseller's list in time. All it takes is practice.

Pornographic literature is still pornography. And giving pornography to minors doesn't tend to go over well.
While I wasn't personally hit up by this guy, probably in part to me never writing anything above a 'teen' rating (at least currently) and I'm not popular anyway, it makes me kinda glad I don't do 'mature' requests, and I'm not open to commissions at least for the time being.
On a sidenote, did this guy ever mention if he has any account on any art-based site? I'm curious since, I did open myself to doing art requests more than a year ago (and admittingly, I still have two that needs to get done) and I had an individual ask for a request with multiple characters and it was suppose to be borderline suggestive, at least in my opinion it was, and it's making me curious if it's the same individual.

4227311 Actually, pornography is defined as sexually explicit images. In literature it's called erotica. Though I do agree it's incredibly irresponsible to make it for minors, and anyone caught doing so should be banned from the site, it's not quite as bad as giving them actual porn.

Actually, no, it isn't. Pornography isn't defined as sexually explicit images, nor is erotica defined as sexually explicit literature.
Pornography:

It's curious how, when given objective proof that explicitly contradicts your standpoint, you suddenly drop the "this is how it's defined" defense that you were relying on in favor of claiming that anyone who disagrees with your (objectively false) definitions is unreasonable and prudish. Suggestion for the future: Don't try to use definitions as a defense when you clearly haven't actually read the definitions, know nothing about laws related to the terms, and/or are obviously unfamiliar with how the terms are distinguished in modern art culture.
Regardless, your personal opinion on whether or not it's reasonable is irrelevant. So is mine, for that matter. That is how the words are defined, and those definitions are what the United States legal system uses when defining obscenity. That definition of obscenity, in turn, is used as a basis for laws regarding the distribution of obscene materials to minors. No amount of whining about prudishness or being unreasonable changes that. You're wrong. Plain and simple.

With what Abyss and many other writers on this site do, some of it is very, very, explicit. You literally don't need a picture at times. Even though shirotora went the definition route, yeah, hes still wrong. No obscenity to minors.

You know, after thinking on it, I can't help but wonder just where he was going to get this picture he was trying to threaten you with. I mean, is he an artist? Does he have a friend who would draw it for him? Even as a teenager, I'm pretty sure most of my artsy friends would have more than a few questions if I started asking them for pictures of tortured cartoon ponies. Did he plan to commission it? I mean, he doesn't have money for the story, and artists can charge a pretty penny for those commissions. This entire thing just raises so many questions.

Also different sources can define a term differently. Third, as I said, no one reasonable would consider words porn. Politicians are not typically reasonable. Well he does seem to be a bit off, the kid. But the minor part and him asking for porn, I mean... that is not something anyone should care about. 21st Century, literally every kid by age of what, 7-8, has access to internet and I can guarantee you that by the age of 12 they either intentionally or not would have came across a piece of porn of some kind.
Now you could say that its their parents fault or what not, but another thing I'm sure of is that most parents, that are NOT out of their mind wouldn't really care, they were teenagers too, pretty sure they seen some weird stuff too when they were young, most likely out of their own choice.
I mean, at age of 15 this kid is allowed to have sex in MANY countries across the world, who cares if someone gives him some porn or not, though at least he could ask for it in a more polite manner
