Oh dear god the plotbunnies... (Friendship Games spoilers, beware!) · 1:51am Sep 28th, 2015
So during a long afternoon of thunderstorms, I've been entertaining myself by extruding that stinger from Friendship Games into Seinfeldian conversations between the Rainbooms and the two Twilights.
Fun fact: 80% of my fanfic ideas come from me talking to myself in bed while trying to sleep/sick/watching the weather be bad.
Anyway, I had a thought, which I may or may not do something with at some point, but I wanted to share it regardless:
Given the propensity of teenagers to pull their phones out and take pictures/videos of anything and everything, and how many witnesses there were to the Midnight Sparkle thing, and especially given the fandom's reaction to that in the last 24 hours:
Princess Twilight hears about everything that happened, sees a video of Midnight Sparkle, and there's this whole conversation about how she actually had a cooler demon form than Sunset Shimmer, with SciTwi getting embarrassed and one of the others saying that they're just trying to relieve the tension and stress by making light of what was a terrible situation. Then Princess Twilight starts scrolling down through the comments on the video, and is severely disturbed by the amount of pervy comments and catcalls and general boys being creeps over the sheer sexiness of Midnight Sparkle. Which leads down really embarrassing and awkward conversation paths. And also, possibly talk of Princess Twilight using Midnight Sparkle as a Nightmare Night costume, and Sunset Shimmer convincing Vice-Principal Luna to dress up as Nightmare Moon for Halloween.
I like to have fun with silly things. 
He he. I'd read that. That's funny!

Next year's Halloween Party at Canterlot High School will most likely involve at least 3 people dressed up as their own demon forms. If Princess Twilight joins in too there could be 4. Then AJ or RD or someone might dress up as Sunset's Alicorn Pony-Up form for the LOLs.
PS: Did I finally get something to catch on? I've been calling the EG-Native Twilight SciTwi since she was revealed at the end of Rainbow Rocks. Now if only I could get XBox 3pi to catch on...
I want to see that story!
That's how I get about 40% of mine, and a fair chunk of dialogue.
And if you do write a story where the two Twilights interact, I'm sure I'd love it.
I'm just wondering how bad of a brain lock Flash will get when he stumbles across the two Twilights.

HAHA!!! I told my psychiatrist that I wasn't crazy! A blatant lie, but still.
Real talk, though, I do this too. It's something i actually started doing in middleschool when i was just starting to write. I told one of my friends about it and they laughed their ass off.
I would love to see that story.
