Technically we're already channeling the Showa era with the kaiju talking. Last time that happened we had dream sequence Minya and record-scratch Godzilla and Anguirus.... For story's sake I hope I did a more consistent job

From what I understand, the kaiju talk like us when in their reduced forms, but in their true forms their speech is in roars and grunts like in Ghidorah The Three Headed Monster. So yes, I would say it has been very consistent. For that you deserve a round of applause.
