Well, I'm feeling really good, everyone.
Why?
Because I'm just a happy guy! That's why!
Also because I'm finished with school for the next few months, so a LOT of time has freed up for me.
Hmmm, I am quite the busy guy. But now I have so much more time to write and ACTUALLY continue the unfinished stories under my account.
Seriously, for you all that have been waiting for Spike's Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo, Pinkie Pie, Domestication, Vinyl Scratch and (more recently) the awesome continuation of Three Wishes...I just have to ask...
Do you still care? Do you still even remember what's happening in the story? Why have you "followed" someone with a history of writing unfinished stories?
Either way, thanks for the attention. It does inspire, truthfully.
Speaking of inspiration, all the stories mentioned above are due for updates!
Updates, updates, updates! Oh, yeah!
The writer in me is just aching to get back into those stories! Yeah, baby!
It's not like I stopped publishing stories, though. A myriad of one-shots had been sprinkled into the fandom, and it seems they were thoroughly enjoyed.
I'm referring to Banana, What I Miss The Most, Spike's Dating Simulator, To Be Strong, Spike's Luna (completed! Ha!!!!).
What ever happened to Spike's Daring Do? Eh, that's a cancelled project. I don't care about it anymore. So if you followed me for that story, I apologize. The ban on my last account really just cut off that story.
Anyway, I'm probably going to update Spike's Rainbow Dash next, then maybe Three Wishes (or perhaps Scootaloo).
I don't know for sure, but I do know I want to write!
Again, though, do you guys even care? If you do, then you're likely in for a treat.
Or this entire blog turns out to be some kind of rambling from a mentally unstable brony writer.
In all truth, everyone, my interest in MLP is waning. I really just don't care that much anymore, but the fanfics still pull me in. I really am a lover of romance (Spike shipfics in general, though I do occasionally indulge in a one-shot comedy).
I still haven't seen three episodes of this last season, and I really don't care to watch them.
But! The fanfic fandom never ceases to astound me, and that's why I always come back! So, yes, I shall continue writing fanfiction for this very kind, hilarious and thought-provoking fandom.
To receive and to give back.
Of course, I might still just be spouting nonsensical ideas, but I'll try to stick to my convictions for this particular case.
Want to know what fanfiction I'm currently reading? Sure, I'll tell you. I've also been taking my sweet old time with them! I've been reading one-two chapaters in three week intervals! But they really are amazing Spike shipfics! Honestly!
Check out Dawning Reality (Spike Harem), one of the most well-written, visually stimulating experience for a Spike shipfic. I've fallen in love with it, and I'm just on Chapter Eight! It is heart-wrenching, it is sweet, it is funny, and most importantly it is a force to be dealt with when it comes to inner reflection. Hurry up and update, dude! Hurry up!
Another one is Heart of Scales (AppleSpike)! The author takes his time creating an intense atmosphere for the reader. He doesn't rush character development, and the pacing of the plot is admirable. Just like Dawning Reality, I am infatuated with the writing of this Spike shipfic! So awesome! I'm just on Chapter Four, and I'm so excited to read the rest! :)
The two of them were just recently updated, so get on those fanfics!

Trust me waiting for updates is nothing to me anymore. Been waiting at least 6 years for a legend of Zelda fic on ff.net to update (probably wont be after that long but damn it worth it! Look foward to any and every update you can get out. Keep it up man!

I've only read Spikes RD but I plan to eventually read the others when I find some time, so yes I still care, as I'm sure many others do as well.
Also, you seem really excited, like, REALLY REALLY EXCITED...I like it!
MJ, you feel exactly like I do, except I can't stop procrastinating and actually just sit down and right something. I stopped having any sort of interest in the show during early Season 2. I stopped having anything to do with ponies for months. I came back right before the end of Season 2, blew through all the episodes, wondering why I even enjoyed any of it in the first place.
Then I remembered when I decided to go to DA on a whim, seeing some of the people I followed way back in Season 1 had updated stuff while I'd been gone.
The fanfic community is what keeps me in the fandom. Otherwise, I don't really care. I watch the new episodes for three things now: 1) to hopefully find an episode that has even a piece of the greatness of the first season, 2) to deconstruct the episodes on a critical basis (I'm a big fan of animation in all forms, and love to review and critique it for fun, much to my friends displeasure) and 3) to keep up with what's happened simply for the sake of the fanfics that can spawn from it.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you've got coming. I followed you because you're a nice guy who has quality content that I enjoyed. If you didn't update again, I could always go back, reread what you had released and speculate on where it might have gone. There are plenty of other stories out there too, so it's not like I was waiting just for you to update (not to devalue the worth of your stories however, I have been waiting on and off for Domestication, Dash and Scootaloo to update).
As for the stories you mentioned, I've read both of them and I think they're both great. There are others that I would have thought would be worth a mention as well, but different tastes for different people I guess.
I completely understand brother, we all have moments of doubt in truth but hopefully season four will turn out amazing, I loved season three but thats my option and there can be so many Spilight made now because Twi is an Alicorn/Goddess of Magic or she can even be with the other Gods of course, but like I always say, once a fan of MLP, always a fan

Fanfics update when they update, no big deal. Though that's probably not the right mentality to have when I'm one of those authors (not here on FiMfiction). I sure hope that downswing of interest doesn't go so far that you stop interacting entirely. I still kinda miss Bobcat (who left a great story unfinished) and AbsoluteAnonymous (whom I never really loved that much since she didn't seem to think much of Spike).
Oh well, best of luck with those updates. I have added Heart of Scales and Dawning Reality to my long, long list of bookmarks...which means I hate you.

Well, do I care about your unfinished stories? Let's see:
Spike's Rainbow Dash:
Spike and Rainbow Dash are finally in Ponyville, which has freaked out like crazy. Each team is gearing up and hopes to achieve their goals, be it pride, greed or whatever else drives the force behind their motivation. Spike and Rainbow Dash wish to enter Twilights home to 'escape' the madness and are unknowledgeable of the fact, that Rarity is there (probably) and Twilight and Princess Luna collaborate to get the two of them seperated...
Rainbow Dash actually falls for Spike quite hard right 'now' in the story and Spike really trusts Dash but is somewhat unsure of his feelings. After all, he is supposed to love Rarity, right?
...should I go on over that story? No? Okay, good.
Spike's Scootaloo:
They are still stuck in their odd date that Spike 'has' to go to for a lost bet. Applebloom and Sweetie Belle duct-taped a dress on Scootaloo in their haste and it tied the two of them quite close together. Scootaloo seems to like Spike quite much, even though she is really embarrassed that her friends are watching her 'stealthily'. She is even more embarrassed over Snips and Snails, too.
Spike feels really bad for Scootaloo right 'now' in the story. She thinks it's a real date and probably hates him (yeah, right *snort*). He intends to tell her about the bet and to help ease her embarrassment but only makes things even more and more awkward.
Next story, please?
Spike's Pinkie Pie:
Oh god, that was one that is hard to describe. Spike admits he always liked Pinkie Pie like a girlfriend and poor, lonely Pinkie (who thinks she lost her friends when they actually plan a birthday party for her) immediately decides that they should be marefriend and stallion...friend? (How does the male counterpart to marefriend actually is worded?) Pinkie almost promised not to make a big spectacle (and subsequent party with that) over their new relationship. I'm not sure how much she understands of being, well, in love and that she only tries to not lose friends - no matter what. And poor Spike is totally confused over his feelings and if Pinkie actually takes that whole thing with the proper seriousness...
Oh and in the last chapter, Rainbow Dash showed up and things were about to get a lot more interesting and fun because of the party and the reactions of the rest of the Mane 6 to this sudden relationship. *sigh*
Next story...
Domestication:
The last story was hard to define, this one is even worse...if I bother much with the implications behind actions and the psychological stuff. This is a human-pony dimension...but before Equestria girls. Rainbow Dash works in a camp (I think a flight camp but I've got NO fucking idea because this was only mentioned once and I'm not checking...) and lives alone in her apartment. But not quite, since Spike lives in the apartment next door. Even more interesting, Rainbow Dash needs to go through Spike's apartment to leave the building.
Now, Spike made a bet that humans can be 'domesticated' too, if you knew what you were doing and even though they both were quite surprised about this, Rainbow agreed to be domesticated. Spike did a lot of work, making her agitated in her apartment, made her 'stroke her udders' quite a lot (he only insisted she should call them that, though), made her feel protected around him, made her eat only his meals, made her moo if she wants to express...well anything, made her distrust people eating beef (she thinks of it as murder) and finally made her never want to leave his side. He never pushes Rainbow Dash into anything and she falls into his domestication even worse because of that. She even has this fetish of getting her breasts milked and wonders if she could resist Spike if he started requesting that of her.
And now the next story...
Vinyl Scratch:
*sigh* Such a heartbreaking beginning, really. Vinyl gets ahead in life but works herself to the bone over it. She overworks so much that she doesn't sleep if she can avoid it and only crashes down all the time. Her house is a dump and the shadows of her eyes are getting quite fierce. In a recent bash, a very drunk Twilight congratulates Vinyl for the great party and mentions she can have Spike as an assistant if she needs any help. Thinking of it as nothing more than drunken talking, Vinyl accepts laughing. The next day, Spike shows up and progressively helps her clean her room and make herself enjoy herself again. I'm not sure if she works with her about the shadows under her eyes but he at least notices them. He also comments her eyes to be pretty.
Spike and Vinyl begin talking about her work and she shows him how to 'drop the bass' and he gets quite good with it for a beginner. She even dances, I think (I'm a little foggy on that) and then she shows how a true master works the turntables. Transfixed, Spike enjoys the music and even dances to it, silly and rhythmically, whatever tickles his fancy. He even gets Vinyls glasses while dancing and that's about where your beginning end. You only write this nice line of the 'hole' in Vinyls life being filled slowly and her being very happy.
On to the next one!
Oh, the last one already? I kind of got into the mood for that right now...ah well, onto
Three Wishes:
This story shows a genie. A genie granting wishes to ponies.He is quite cruel and hates Alladin and his creator because of how genies are portrayed in there. Everypony wishing for something only wishes for money and eternity and godlike powers and all that. He is a rather crafty, cruel genie, fulfilling wishes exactly how they are wished but not without negative effects. He makes Mayour Mare into a baby with a lot of lifeless doll pony-lovers and miilions of bits taken from an account in Canterlot, for example.
In order to take his three wishes back, his victims can offer up their soul and all ponies always do that. He wishes for originality and a pony as dumb as Snails (or was it Snips? I'm not quite sure) actually grants him that. He wishes to be a genie and trades places with the genie in the bottle. Now the genie posesses the body of a pony he wishes to hunt the creator of Alladin down and torture him (and probably kill him too). I was unsure of how the story was to continue but if you say chapters follow, I don't complain about it.
Now that THATS over with, first of all, I'm very sad to hear about Spike's Daring Doo being cancelled. I rather enjoyed the story and would have wished for it to continue. I also didn't forget about 'Spike's long awaited conquest' but thought that if you would never finish even Spike's Daring Doo, that this story won't go any further either. In fact, I was quite sure of this.
I'll check on Dawning Reality, pretty soon. I already read Heart of Scales and enjoy it thoroughly. So no worries here. For your *wink, wink*...well, I'm not into that kind of relationship
Yeah, just kidding. 
But I actually like commenting stories without mentioning your name (or that of any other brony for that matter) - why? Because my opinion is that it feels more personal if you check their stories out and write comments on your own and not because of an order (or request) by someone else.

You know, I typed that down somewhat irritated at first because of your message. Then I got into describing the stories and calmed down. I remembered your - in my opinion - awesome fics and never looked any info on them up (well, I copied the names into my comment but that's all, promise).
And well, now I'm just grinning like a maniac since I probably saved a few stories from being abandoned this way. Yay! The friendship and pony way saved the day again!
