Hey guys.
I'm really sorry for what I am about to say, but I hope you will all understand. We recently had the passing of an old family friend, and it has kind of taken all of us by surprise. I won't go into any details about that, but it kind of put me out, and it has made it hard to focus these few weeks.
I'd hoped I would catch up, writing at least 24 small chapters, but I just don't have the energy these days. With the shock of our loos combined with me suddenly having to work nightshifts, mixed in with the stress of knowing I'm behind with chapters...
Erghh... I guess you can see where it is going. I'm really sorry to you all, this is my fault for thinking I could have so many balls in the air at the same time.
I hope for your understanding. I promise I will finish the story next year.
Next year... not giving yourself much time there, next year is only weeks away., 2021 lost last surviving aunt on Dec 19th
Oh I'm very sorry that has happened to you, DanishDash. My sincerest condolences to you and your family over this loss you have.
Even if "next year" is not far off, take what time you need. Length of time will vary. It is grief after all. Been there, mid-chapter when my ex passed away. Genuinely couldn't get my head into writing again for four months.

I am very sorry about your loss and I completely understand what you are going through, earlier this year back in February my dad lost his brother who was a veteran of the Vietnam war just after getting remarried after losing his first wife, my birth mother two years ago from covid complications.

My condolences to you. Please, don’t stress about finishing your story; your mental health and personal life, especially when it involves your loved ones, is much more important than any story and should take priority. Take all the time you need.
