I think some of the Elements of Harmony have been misnamed.
The Element of Loyalty doesn’t really represent loyalty, it seems to represent general hypocrisy and an allegiance to whatever is most convenient at the time. The Element of Honesty represents double standards and apples. The Element of Kindness represents the ability to pleasure twelve dudes at once (which is pretty kind, so that gets a pass). The Element of Laughter represents crystal meth addiction and a crippling need for constant approval from others. The Element of Generosity represents vanity and a sense of superiority derived from pretending to be rich. And the Element of Magic represents being dumb and purple.
For the sake of accuracy, I suggest they be renamed to the Elements of Big Gay Lasers.

...I actually always figured there was a bit of Kenichi in the selections.
For those not up on random anime, Kenichi, the Mightiest Disciple is about a guy learning martial arts from five teachers who are so good they kind of break reality. The important part is that he's not that good. He will likely never be that good. He was actually specifically chosen because he's completely terrible at all things martial arts and has to learn everything the super hard and bone-deep way. There's a big overarching plot for why, but for starters there's dating the scary old master's grandaughter because she has amazing breasts. Basically, he was chosen both for WILLINGNESS to learn by getting the crap beaten out of him by five punchy Pinkie Pies, and for CAPABILITY to learn as much as possible in as hard a manner as possible.
