The powerful English wrestler Checkmate, defeated only by the famed Kid Muscle and Neptuneman as part of the Intergalactic Wrestling Federation appeared suddenly in a colourful land filled with mythical creatures and magical talking ponies, his rook and king pieces missing from atop his mighty shoulders. He is trapped in his agile knight form, lost in this strange world with nary a familiar face to be found. Will this mighty fighter find his way back home? Will he ever find himself to be complete? Will he learn the magic of friendship? Maybe! I'm not quite sure! You should just read it to find out!

As Twilight Sparkle wakes one day, she discovers something very strange. Her friends have all gone missing. Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Rarity have all gone missing, and nopony has seen any of them since the day before. But that is not all that disturbs her. Not only are her friends gone, but five mares have shown up; all claiming to be Twilight Sparkle herself.

Princess Luna had been locked away, sealed in the moon for the last thousand years. She has tried twice to cover the world in eternal darkness. Luna does not feel that she has received a punishment befitting of her actions, so under the guise of the Mysterious Mare-Do-Well she protects the citizens of Canterlot from harm as repentance for her evil deeds.

Nightmare Night; the scariest night of the year. But what happens if those fears are rational? Never let your fears get the better of you. Don't let them grab hold of your fears.

Once again our two heroes The Narrator and Pinkie Pie meet in order to tell the tail of that one time Rainbow Dash made rainbows. Follow along through the twists and turns of this epic plot (Hehe, plot) and see how the Narrator will save innocent ponies once more.
