Luna's fall to nightmare moon is not a short one. Luna is stuck in a routine of night always raising the moon and lowering it and she feels that nobody cares. Soon her depression get to the point where it consumes her and she turns on everything she loved. Luna is then lost to Nightmare Moon the creature who makes it eternal night.
