This is a story of creation, understanding, emotion, and the sense of belonging.
For now, Timestop is an earthpony, who owns a small clock and watch repair shop. She takes custom commission orders, and loves the simple things. At the last Grand Galloping Gala, Timestop went to the vendors that gather outside of the Gala, that hope to earn a liveable wage off of the tourism. There she spends a weeks worth of profit on loot, including a bottle of Wishful thinking, that soon changes everything.
This is also my first fan fiction, so I hope you all enjoy.

Grammar seems to be okay, but the story isn't developed enough to tell if it's worth reading or not.
I do want to say that I disagree with your statement about the song. I do not think it fits. In fact, I consider it bad form to ask your readers to listen to anything while they read. If you can't write a story using only words, then what's the point of writing it at all?

Sorry, but I highly disagree with you about the song. It's an add on, but it isn't necessary for any form of development.
Also, I happen to really like the song and think it fits perfect, and is why I chose it.
Several, and I mean several fan fiction writers do it, and I thoroughly enjoy it. (I have also never considered it bad form, I have always found it unique and exciting. Try reading Defender222's Faith and Doubt, he inserts music in a couple of his chapters and has been featured a few times, his story is really good.)
I thought if I would enjoy it, others would as well.

XD No, it's not a clopfic. It's a picture I drew that is substituting for now. I haven't drawn the 'real' cover art yet.

1429168 I have seen other authors use them as well. I didn't like it there, either. I feel that "setting the mood" with music is unnecessary.
I admit it doesn't help that I also find it distracting. For some reason, I almost always lose my ability to read a story when music starts playing. Even having a song stuck in my head makes reading tricky.
After your response to my last comment, I realized that, though I don't regret giving you my opinion, I was probably taking things too seriously. I need to fix that...
