Hey! I don't often comment on stories, but I wanted to let you know that I LOVE your Scorchedquestria stories! They are so full of harrowing imagination, and I can't wait to read more.
I guess I'm really proud of this chapter because only about 100 words of it is actually dialogue. That's not something I've really done before and I think it really works in this instance. It was fun and tense to write. IDK maybe I'm weird.

Not the first time The Event has been compared to it.
The little art pieces at the end of certain chapters really help hammer in the emotional beats of these stories, and this chapter is especially impactful.
Rose looks so dark despite sitting directly under the sun's rays. This is her at the lowest point we've ever seen. Utterly broken, despairing, and screaming at the sky, awaiting an answer we know will never come.
Christ is chronicled as saying "Father, why have you forsaken me?" after being crucified, and not receiving a response.
Rose's story is not going to have a hopeful ending, in comparison, though. She is going to go down an even darker path. She's been cast down by her god, her wings ripped away, plunged into a burning hell and never feeling the touch or comfort of the sun in a way she enjoyed again.
If there's a devil in this story, it's Rose.
Hey don't feel bad about this being over triple the planned length, I'm fuckin loving it
*Remembers Celestia's feelings in babel*
Uuuuuh yeah don't think the real Celestia appreciated you killing someone on her account and the infected one doesn't seem to care either way.
Don't worry about the extra word length, I'm enjoying it.
Hey now! I'm not crying at the 60k word length story. It's just getting better and better.
You really think that 'thing' cares?
Maybe I’m just not reading the right books, but I don’t think I’ve read too many stories where the protagonist is driven by their religious beliefs quite like Rose is. I’ve seen plenty of antagonists with a misguided sense of divine justice, but never a protagonist whose mind we get to see inside.
I think people don’t write characters like this very often because religion is a topic that people have such severe opinions on and react strongly to. But in making up a religion for Rose, it managed to circumnavigate the perils of the situation while creating such a nuanced character.

Did we miss a whole day
Well nature says you can’t
Like that artwork at the end. Will there be more perhaps?
This chapter has just gone to show how bad things have gotten. I really enjoyed this one in a horrible, gut-wrenching sort of way.

If you think this is strange, then take a look at "Stereotypical Necromancer".Most of the chapters are character thoughts, action, and some dialogue. It all looks very fascinating
