They were all lead by twilight at the time though, on their own they really aren't that smart. Applejack (or maybe Sunburst) even says they aren't smart.

Your theory is coming true
That's a post-Quarantine mood right there. And also some excellent foreshadowing, because we know that is exactly what is going to happen.
And, as I thought, Rose has completely thrown her lot in with Tempest (with no small help of her being the angel/devil on Rose's shoulder). Now it's a matter of seeing who will kill Golden, Bulwark, and Al first; the Unicorns, or Rose and Tempest?
The thing, however, is that I don't think Rose is completely in the wrong. Her faith and belief are so strong, however, that it has completely subsumed any other preconceptions she might have had before. I don't think the others are intentionally discriminating against Rose, Golden promoted her after all. It is merely a natural breakdown of order and stress from the situation they're in.
Good luck trying to convince Rose of that, though.
Now, the real question. What happens to Rose now? Does she follow through with Tempest and leave Equestria together? Does she become so zealous and dogmatic that she kills the others for being "heretics"? Does she believe in her faith so strongly that she goes to Celestia herself and try to "save" her, only to get killed?
I could also see her surviving and restarting worship of Celestia in Equestria once many of her predictions are proven correct. Like the ponies still being aware and doing this against their will.
So many directions Rose could go in right now, and we still have many more days to go!
...I really hope she talks with the cured Celestia and that she (metaphorically) tears her a new asshole for not taking that shot.
You may have rewritten it three times, but I still believe it was worth it.
It was righteous and you are a moron Rose.

Thanks. I appreciate it. This chapter was giving me FITS while writing it. I legit wrote the whole thing, moved half of it to the next chapter, then wrote a second half. Deleted half of that. It just didn't want to be written.
Oh and the opening to this chapter was originally the end to the last one but none of it felt right. I think it's in a good place now. I'm at least happy with it.
Assuming Rose survives, her and Celestia could have a very interesting conversation in Babel
I'm both intrigued and worried about what will happen as this story progresses, as clearly Rose is starting to turn hostile to the other survivors and Tempest is using this to her advantage. I can say that I somewhat relate to Rose since I have coworkers who seem to always take things out on me for being the newbie and for not getting everything they wanted done despite the mountain of things I did get done for them. I know they are all just stressed from the work and I have no ill will towards them despite what they put me through. Unlike Rose, who appears to be sharpening the end of her spear by the end of this chapter. I can't say that I trust her to do the right thing in the end, since what is righteous to her doesn't feel righteous to me.
Differences of opinions aside, I appreciate the work you put into your work BaeroRemedy and patiently wait for more. Just make sure to take care of yourself and not overdue things.

I really do appreciate all of the concern from everyone but this is just how I write. I go on binges and droughts of creativity. I can't control it anymore than I can control the tide. If I'm feeling creative, then I write. If that manifests in outputting 100k+ words in a month, then so be it.
lets hope somebody finds out and slaps some sense into rose, fuck me, this was more painful to read than the death and gore...

I'm sure everyone in Cloudsdale will agree with you Rose
righteous!!!!? You just murdered your friend!!!
Yes she was going to kill Celestia, but you could've stopped her without killing her!!
I'm now wondering if Rose is either doing things because they are the right thing to do or because of her religion belief.
Did she save Celestia because she hopes that they can be saved or because she adores her?

This made me curious.
How would the And Hell Followed storyline (original story and sequels) effect G5? All the stories of unicorns being beasts, zapping horn lasers, frying brains. Or would G5 not even exist?
Rose slowly moving towards full crusader mindset.
For the love of logical sense and imperial truth I hope of she survives she sees how her belief affected the other in other city’s like say cloudsdale.

I’ll drink to that my friend.
And yet, her reasoning for her actions are that of a cultist. Even when your "shining light" decimated everything yoi held dear, she proteced it, against the better judgement of her peers.
Her actions lead to the death of others, at the very least, her squad (I'm assuming, bear in mind.) Attempting something, however unsuccessfull would've been a proactive action to save lives.
Rose is in the wrong, IMHO.
