How They Met

"Come on Zenkichi-Kun, we're almost there!~"

In the middle of a forest, around the middle of the afternoon, two certain children could be seen walking through the area with varying degrees of eagerness and emotion; the young girl with short blue hair and wearing a pretty dress appeared to be the most eager and excited about this entire adventure she was embarking upon. She was known as Medaka Kurokami, and she just wore a bright smile throughout this entire experience.

"Why do you always do this Medaka-Chan, don't you realize how worried you'll make our family by doing this?..."

However, unlike the optimism of Kurokami, there was a young boy with blondish hair and who wore a yellow shirt and shorts; he expressed the exact opposite feelings about all this – less eagerness and extreme frustration – and he was known as Zenkichi Hitoyoshi. He was frowning and whining about all this.

"No need to worry, I left a note, it will all be fine~"

Medaka still expressed her unconcerned and joyful attitude towards all this, which caused Hitoyoshi to groan in annoyance at her.

"Like that's gonna help…"

Zenkichi sighed in defeat once he realized that there was no point in arguing with her, though he would still be unhappy about it nonetheless.

'Always headstrong and determined, never taking no as an answer and not knowing when to call it quits, it is such a bother whenever she does things like this… Then again, we wouldn't be friends if she wasn't like this…'

Despite all the troubles and problems that Zenkichi was usually forced to be a part of, he couldn't help but grinned lightly to himself, no doubt deeply caring for someone like Kurokami, despite what he had been through

"Where are we going anyway, Medaka-Chan?"

"Well, you see Zenkichi-Kun, what I have discovered was something quite lov-"

Just as Medaka was about to answer and explain to Zenkichi what she had found, she immediately cut herself off and stopped completely, which accidentally caused Hitoyoshi to bump into her, much to his confusion.

"Huh? What are you doing? What's going on?"

Zenkichi rounded Kurokami and looked at her to see what she was doing; she just kept walking forward with a shocked, wide-eyed expression of awe.

"Oh my…"

All Medaka had to say was that, which did not help Hitoyoshi to understand the situation and decide to look at what she was looking at and see what got her so worked up.

"W-WHAT IN THE WORLD IS THAT?!"

Zenkichi looked extremely shocked and horrified when he saw a certain Draconequus, a creature made from different parts of various animals, at the center of a field of beautiful flowers. The creature was currently in the middle of using some kind of power, which increased Hitoyoshi's already-upsetting feelings, to summon multiple hammers or jackhammers, which it used on itself for some reason. Luckily, it seemed distracted and didn't notice them at all, which did make the young blonde boy feel some relief.

"O-Ok Medaka-Chan, let's back away s-slowly and-"

Zenkichi tried to reach out and grab onto Kurokami, so that he could take her away to safety; however, after realizing he was grabbing nothing but air, he immediately realized and saw that the young girl was gone, causing him to panic even more.

"DANG IT!"

Meanwhile, back with the patchwork of animals, he was currently still using a lot of hammers and jackhammers on himself, which was working very violently on his body, though judging from his very annoyed and angry expression, it seemed as if no progress had been made at all.

"Stupid Princesses and their 'Elements of Harmony'..."

The mismatched beasts continued to growl and mumble in absolute frustration; they quickly summoned a very large cartoonish-looking sledgehammer and were about to bring it down on themselves, but they both quickly stopped themselves when they felt something touching them, causing them to look to see what it was.

"T-This is the first time I-I came this close to an animal before…"

And what the Draconequus saw was Medaka herself, who was currently touching and carefully petting his snake tail with white fluff at the tip, which suddenly moved around like hands and grabbed onto the young girl, lifting her up to his face and starting to glare at her.

"Excuse me little Miss Monkey, but who do you think are to-?"

Before he could start interrogating Kurokami, he was instantly surprised by her sudden strength as she escaped his firm grip, and then immediately startled when she swung and jumped onto his body, hugging and nuzzling him tightly.

"So Cute!~"

This made him go wide-eyed when he heard Medaka say it to him personally.

"C-Cute?..."

He couldn't help but stammer and make sure she heard him correctly.

"Mhm, you're a very beautiful creature, so majestic and unique~"

Every word that Medaka spoke was filled with complete innocence, admiration, and to her at least, very truthfulness, which he could tell and couldn't help but blush slightly.

"W-Well, I am very amazing, aren't I?~"

He tried to hide his embarrassment and flattered her, as he simply accepted them and continued to act all egotistical and arrogant

"Very amazing, hehe~"

Medaka smiled brighter, and hugged the patchwork of animals tighter, which he seemed to allow her, even patting her head and putting her on his shoulder before continuing to work on whatever it was he was doing; she simply giggled more happily and nuzzled his cheek.

'Ughhhhh… Medaka-Chan will always find a way into someone's heart… She really needs to hold back when doing that…'

Zenkichi, who had watched the entire thing unfold, let out a small sigh of both relief and shook his head in slight annoyance, while also not being surprised to see his childhood friend suddenly win over and become buddies with the Draconequus.

'Though at least she's finally with an animal that didn't run away from her, I bet this is the single best day of her entire life.'

Zenkichi looked back up to see Kurokami again, who seemed beyond overjoyed to be doing what she's doing, so much so that she almost wanted to cry from the warmth in her heart. This made Hitoyoshi chuckle softly to himself, though after a bit, he knew he couldn't just keep watching forever. So, after taking a deep breath and calming himself, he moved away from the tree he was hiding behind and cautiously walked towards the two up ahead.

"Hm?"

The mismatched beast paused himself from using and setting off the bombs that covered his entire lower half, as both he, and the little girl on his back, noticed the small blonde hesitantly walking up to them.

"A friend of yours?"

The Draconequus asked Kurokami, who happily nodded

"A childhood friend~"

Medaka felt proud in saying this; the patchwork of animals just simply shrugged, lifted her off his shoulder and placed her next to the young boy.

"I'm assuming you want her back?"

He had already assumed what Hitoyoshi would be there for, which he assumed correctly when the nervous child nodded in confirmation and held the blue-haired friend close.

"T-Thank you for treating her kindly, a-and sorry if she bothered you."

"I-I Wasn't Bothering Him!"

Medaka couldn't help but whine and sound upset at what Zenkichi was implying about her, which honestly made the hybrid chuckle softly to himself.

"Worry not, in fact I quite like the little blue monkey~"

He used his lion paw to pet Kurokami's head before teasingly poked her nose, which made her giggle and smile even more.

"My name is Medaka Kurokami, and he's Zenkichi Hitoyoshi~"

Medaka quickly corrected him for calling her a monkey and told him her and her friends' names; the Patchwork Animals nodded to this and decided to return the favor by introductions.

"If we're sharing names, then please refer the magnificent me as Discord, the Lord of Chaos and Spirit of Disharmony!~"

The Draconequus, now known as Discord, dramatically introduced himself and used his magic to summon confetti, flashing lights, and music, you know, to make it more "magical." Kurokami watched it all in awe, while Hitoyoshi watched with more worry and concern.

"I-It's very nice to meet you, S-Sir Discord, but I think it's time for us to go back home…"

"B-But Zenkichi-Kun-!"

Medaka quickly wanted to protest and complain about what Zenkichi suggested, though she was stopped when her head was petted once again by the Lord of Chaos himself, and with his eagle claw this time.

"Don't worry, once I'm no longer busy, I'll be sure to find you again, and then we can have some real fun~"

Discord gave a reassuring expression toward the young girl, which made her feel hopeful, while giving a mischievous smirk toward the young boy, which made him become even more stressed and worried.

"You promise?"

Medaka reached up and held his eagle claw, looking at him with cute wide eyes; he simply nodded and smiled back at her.

"Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye~"

Discord did all of this literally when he made that promise, shoving a cupcake into his eye and letting it eat it, which made the blue-haired pony giggle, and the blonde looked at him in disgust.

"I believe you… Come on Zenkichi-Kun, your mother is waiting for us, so let's go before she gets upset!~"

After saying goodbyes and hugs, Medaka quickly turned around and quickly started walking away; Zenkichi just simply looked at the Spirit of Disharmony one last time, still wearing his concerned face, before simply running off and catching up with his childhood friend.

"Hm~..."

As Discord watched them leave, more specifically Medaka, he couldn't help but blink and look at her with different colored and glowing eyes, which seemed to give him a new type of vision that allowed him to see Kurokami differently; more specifically, he was able to see her be surrounded by a special kind of aura that was so bright that it literally melted his eyes away. Once it reformed, he couldn't help but look at her with an excited and very eager smile.

'I can't wait to see you again~'

It was very hard to find a proper Discord crossover that I liked, hehe, but anyway, this is still the world of Medaka Box, most of the story will be Medaka Box, HOWEVER, I'm gonna add a lot of MLP elements, more specifically MLP: Equestria Girls, so yeah, BTW I'm open to suggestions and ideas if you have any~
(Yes, Medaka will learn magic, you could probably guess the type, though, I wonder what kind of magic Zenkichi would learn, hm?~)
