The clop itself is pretty hot, but it just doesn't sit well with me. It's probably the complete non-con and that Soarin is effectively killed. Being sold out like that by his team especially doesn't sit right.
A slight change making it temporary (Say instead of stonework the Naga is known for bronze sculptures, which use temporarily petrified subjects to make a master mould) where they're hiring Soarin to be a centrepiece for the evening's party and turning it more into exhibitionism the story as a whole might be more palatable to a wider audience.
But the way it went down here was really hot and doesn't need much fiddling with.

Hmmmm maybe my mind just naturally goes to darker places, when I received the prompt of petrification into stone or gold, I instantly felt I wanted to play on the psychological horror of being de-personalized. To also be fair, I didn't think this fic would sit well with most everyone lol
