Author told me during editing that the filly is something akin to a mimic, except she ships herself to other creatures for food, i.e. sex, and the rope is her lifeline to the box, literally.

It was my uncle who first told me that concrete joke. I was helping him re-pave his driveway when I got a nasty cut. After I did, he literally offered me a cup of concrete, and told me to drink it. When pressed as to why I would drink it, he said, "So you can harden the fuck up."

It explains why she said "That hurt, mister. You should’ve been more careful when handling me." when he opened the box with the crowbar. From the way it was worded I was confused, as it sounded like she was never hit by the crowbar...

But if she's tied to the box, she feels what the box feels.

Knew there was something up when she was so protective of the rope.
At least she was noble and didn't lethally harm.
Now we kinda want to see if eventually she can be convinced to settle down... 😇

I didn't come up with it. It's been around for a while to describe movies that featured some sort of monster. Sometimes the monster was just an exaggerated animal (giant snake or some such) and sometimes the monster was an actual monster, like what you have here.

And, seriously, if this was your plan from the beginning...bravo! I had absolutely no idea. It was an awesome twist.

My idea from the start was to just make a normal filly delivery fic, but, as with the majority of the things I write, it ended up turning into yet another strange filly. The opportunity grabbed me by the throat.

I plan on writing something extra with Packing Peanuts, I didn't feel like including more stuff since I felt like these short stories were everything I needed to finish her tale, but it won't be released until later. I have other stories I want to publish first before revisiting old ideas.
