The Folly of Celestia: https://youtu.be/ufW5tpG_eAQ (required to understand this epilogue)
an epilogue to The Folly of Celestia where we see what happens to the deeply depressed and alone Twilight after the princesses of the other dimension have left. finally seeing Celestia for the first time again and being given the terrifying chance to rebuild all that she had thrown or let fade away. a horrifying concept with self confrontation at every step, yet also the thing she knows she should do. how will she cope?

an explanation of why this exists and how you may want to read it:
The Folly of Celestia left me completely unable to move on. it was amazing but it broke something. the problem for me seems to have part of it's roots in how it's ending wasn't pure good. it left the door open to become good, but it wasn't there yet. this is me writing a maybe head cannon about the next two steps forward.
this is written in two sections, i guess you could call it chapters. the first is me leaving things largely open, trying to keep it fitting with every interpretation people may have, in the second i'll be taking more liberties. if you are here because you, like me, need some closure and you got it after chapter 1 i advice you stop reading.
i am not a writer, far from it. the last text i wrote that what meant to be read was over 4 years ago. i don't know if i ever wrote a story for others to read. i'm also dyslectic and will make many spelling mistakes. please do point them out and i'll try to correct them.

I am glad you picked this up as an epilogue! It is a little simple and bare bones, but you clearly accomplished what you set out to do, explain what happened next.

Thank you. I needed this after reading the original story.
