Nice! The judges show that they are impartial to race, and send HER to death. Good.
There was never any doubt that chrysalis would get the death penalty.
This should be 'Representatives'.

The first bull acted as soon as he could to end and surrender. Amd lucky for him and the staff the previous leader was compartmentalized.
Is Chrysalis really going to hang ?
Judging by the tone which has been set and by the words said to Tirek earlier, something tells me that Chrysalis is going that way.
EDIT: My eyes are tired, and I completely passed over "the sentence is death" line.
The Minotaur female was a good addition to the
ProsecutionJudge. Very true. Their lands were ravaged. They also seek justice. As much as I am a fan of Chrysalis, she is a real bitch in this story, and I wouldn't mind buying the rope for her hanging.

Judge, not prosecution, but yes, it felt right.

Also how is Everfree ??
It seems like half of Fimfiction is heading there.
Good chapter, wish we could have seen chrysalis reaction to the sentence.
That's actually a pretty good set up. First the Bull that they were pretty sure would be found innocent of all charges of war crimes, to show that the trials would be fair, just, and even merciful. The second, the terrorist they were sure would be found guilty of at least enough to merit a heavy sentence to show that the trials would not be a farce.
And Queen Chrysalis managed to gloat, brag, and complain herself into the heaviest sentence the judges were willing to hand out, and by a unanimous agreement from all the judges at that: Death.
Tirek is going to have a lot to think about when he's escorted back to Tartarus.
it if
Oh, the irony is rich.
Given that only one bomb was used, I would say give Chrysalis, and any other permanent evil just what they wanted.
Find a nice isolated totally bare rock spire out in the middle of the ocean, place Chrysalis on it, along with a Special Something she so eagerly desired.
True Lies.
Chrysalis' sentencing is an interesting case. I could see an argument being made that her words shouldn't be taken at face value; that she'd rather go down in history as an evil boogeyman (buggymare?) than to express such weaknesses as "regret" or "a willingness to admit that any part of her plan was not perfect". But her testimony aside, what then?
What if she expressed repentance? What if she had broken down on the stand and expressed, absolute, 100% pure, apologies? What then? How could she have made good for what she did? A thousand years of servitude would not mend what she has broken.
So, justice? How is her death justice? It is the same problem as above. there is no way to balance the scales that she has tipped.
All that she has left is her pride. And so, I would propose that her sentence be death by radiation poisoning, so that she may feel that which caused to be inflicted on so many. Further, let her degredation be recorded, and those images be the ones by which she is remembered, so that future generations know her as naught but a broken, wheezing, thing, that died because she was too weak to live.
(My first suggestion was that she be Declared outlaw, and have all the protections of civilization removed from her, but then I realized that Queen Ruddertail would simply spear her as soon as the sentence was passed.)
Truthfully they needed to atleast have some of the military personnel spared otherwise the military could fall apart and you'll have bands of well armed ex soldier bandits and a warlord or two running around trying to seize power. The minotaur lands are gonna sorta be like japan by the end I'm guessing. Allowed to have a military defense force but with limits. By the way I love how you brought out the other bad guys to show them how were not like the ponies. Also gotta say I'm loving ruddertail.
I really love the minotaur judge. That's brilliant! Were there any Axis judges in Nuremburg, or was that the author's own idea?
Plus, I'd wager many internet points that we've just met the next minotaur leader of the council once Twilight is ready to return the lands to self-rule.
I'm a little confused about Tirek though. As far as I can remember, he's done nothing during this entire story. Did they actually transport him from Tartarus for this, just as a threat? Seems like they could just put a TV in his cell.
Nuremburg Part 2:electric Boogaloo
Sometimes there's nothing like actually being there to bring out the full impact of what could happen, to someone who prefers to delude themselves that they are 'entitled' to something that isn't theirs to begin with. Tirek now knows the Humans mean business, and him stealing Magic from the Ponies and others will not be tolerated to any degree whatsoever.
Well... if the age to bear arms, just suppose it's the same for humans. The Minotaur population is going to hurt for quite some time, & if just like the ponies, both female & male are conscripted into the army. Yup, quite a while.
It's been said the material stuff is not important as life. But when architectural wonders, literature & arts, their collection of history & antiquity are all lost in that nuclear holocaust. What a horrendous catastrophic loss their culture & for the people as a whole. Not to mention colleges often filled with bright minds & elite scientist. The loss just keeps piling on & on.
Such is the horrors of war.
And all sides lost so much it is incalculable.
This is a fantasy but it demonstrate what is lost in wars. Recent examples are the ISIS group that went into a, not only a killing spree but also into a wrecking spree. Wrecking their own culture, but destroying valuable artifacts from antiquity.

While I would agree, it'd probably be considered "Cruel and unusual" which, from my limited understanding of laws, would not fly.
9628435
Would not fly with the Americans, no. But they're not judges. I bet Ruddertail would agree to it.
But seriously, no, I don't think that's going to happen.
Wonder how Grogar is going to feel? The only thing making him sure of success in the canon timeline is his Legion of Doom knockoff, so what happens here when all the candidates are either reformed, dead, or absolutely too terrified to try another scheme?
As horrible as it sounds I’m kind of hoping we get a glimpse of Chrysalis when it finally hits home she’s not getting out of this. I fell it might be a slow process like it won’t really hit her until she feels the life slipping away, maybe do the cliche life flashing before her eyes. I won’t deny the idea of death by. Radiation poisoning is attractive to me I can’t see all parties agreeing to it. I’m sure she will try to escape but it will no doubt fail, likely ending with bruises and cracked exoskeletons.
What happens to the others though? I have a feeling the Americans are going to push for the death penalty for a number of them. Maybe exile from civilized society

Maybe Cozy Glow should be their too, you know like a more extreme version of “Beyond Scared Strait” heck just walk her down one of the high security prisons and the brat will behave. The other option is to medicate her until she’s a vegetable, you know like what we usually do with “troubled” youth.
9628646
One problem: no one has any idea about her megalomania until her plan's already in full swing. To everyone in that world, she's just your ordinary, sweet little filly, and you wouldn't bring a sweet little filly here for "scaring her straight" purposes.
9628519
Well just place him in a retirement home, it’s several thousand years old his mind probably isn’t what it used to be.
9628519
He may be smart enough to adapt and try to build an organized, criminal empire.
9627672
hey bug butt heres a song and a message for ya id say may god have mercy on ya.....but there aint no god were your going
That went about as expected. The bull that surrendered the very moment he was in a position to do so goes free, and the psycho that even now sees nothing wrong with all of this gets the firing squad.
So far, so good.
