Solar Eclipse walked down the hall of the castle as his mom
looked at him. She was pretty and had a mane that flowed for ages on end.
She was wearing a piece of armor that protected her body as did solar eclipse.

"Mom the army that Sombra sent is gaining over ours and if
we don't hurry then it will overrun the city and the ponies in it."
Solar Eclipse said to his mother who was worried herself.

Solar went for a walk in canterlot and seen the ponies and their families were
putting up tents and shops to sell their goods. He went to a stall that was selling
food and other treats.

" May I get that bag of peppermints." Solar said to the colt behind the stall as he nodded his head to him. Solar handed him two bits as he opens the bag and put one in his mouth.

" Sir may I have one please? " a filly said as he looked down. The filly was a mare
with long pink mane and tail with a light blue body.

He handed her a piece as he walked off
to a nearby inn that housed many homeless families and ponies. The filly he gave the candy to
followed him as he turned around to see her. She looked at him then smiled.

" Thank you sir, my name is daylight wishes. You can call me daylight for short. I don't have a family like you and can you be my brother?" Daylight said to solar eclipse with worry as he
looked at her then nodded with a grin to the filly.

Solar rented a room for the both of them
and fell asleep with daylight next to him as he pulled the blanket closer to them both
Hours past as they both woke up to noise as the door opened to a unicorn mare.

"You must hurry prince solar eclipse as an attack is happening and you must get to your mother before it's too late." she said as she grabbed them both with her magic.

She placed them just outside as crystal ponies in armor was attacking many ponies in canterlot. A few saw them and tried to rush at them as solar eclipse shot a magic bolt at them with daylight wishes on his back.

They both continued to run as solar use his magic to keep them safe as he saw the filly closer. He didn't see she was an earth pony or that her mane was up in a ponytail. He stopped quickly when a piece of a building fell in front of them. Solar saw his mother fighting as she saw him as he got closer.

"Solar fly away from canterlot before anything worse happens than find Twilight she can help you." His mother said as he just stands there still as somepony came closer and tried to attack him when A royal guard push him out of the way as magic spell hit him and he and daylight went flying till the land in a forest then blacked out.

Daylight woke up to see they were in a big forest and near a small stream with bushes of berries lining the stream. She turns her head to see solar still knocked out and hurt with bruises on his body. Looking up see seen that the sky was beginning to darken and the trees nearby on their left was looking more like monsters. Daylight soon got up and tried to move solar, but could not do to her being just a filly. She stopped and started to yell for somepony to help her.

"Help! We are hurt and need somepony and to move solar, the colt that is with me!" Daylight yelled only to have a hoof to her mouth. Daylight followed the hoof to what looked like a pony only to be a zebra that she never knew before.

" I know you need reliant, but I must ask you to be quiet. It is very Important that we most leave this Forest." She said to daylight. The zebra grabbed Solar and they both walked to what looked like a small town nearby.

A mare soon saw them and rushed over to them both. She was a Pegasus with pink mane and tail. her body was yellow and with each step she took was soft and quiet. Daylight looked at solar and then the mare as they walked to her home.

They entered her home and walked up to a small room with a bed. The mare placed Solar down as she left to get the First ad kit downstairs. The mare came back up to the filly and opened the kit pulling out bandages and other things. Daylight looked at the mare as she finished.

"He is done and sorry about early I'm Fluttershy. My husband is out right now with the fillies and with the war going on most of ponyville is just a rest stop for the homeless and hungry. You can stay here and in the morning I will get twilight to help you two out." Fluttershy said as she left downstairs once again.

A few hours have past and solar woke up to see daylight sleeping in the bed. He soon looked at himself and saw the bandages that wrapped around him. He heard a mare as he tried to move only to hiss in pain. The mare heard him and soon ran up the stairs as she saw him better. solar saw her and knew that it was only Fluttershy who see his purple eyes.

" You most be Fluttershy. My mom talks about you all. I'm prince Solar eclipse, son of Celestia and I thank you for helping me and daylight wishes. Can you get twilight, princess of friendship and magic here I must speak with her about canterlot and what has happened." Solar said to Fluttershy as she nodded. He looked over to see his armor to the side as he softly got up and walked slowly downstairs and sat waiting for Fluttershy and Twilight.
