While the premise could be interesting to me, it just feels like there's too much of an AU here.

*shrugs* After all, I do read fanfiction for canon characters first and foremost (even if OC's in a good story can easily 'grow on me' later).
And here - I fail to see a single significant trait of canon Celestia in her portrayal in the Story (and not even the more interesting fanon variants) ... and other OC's are background nobodies I have zero attachment for... Sorry, it just doesn't work for me this way.
