if a battleship crashes on a planet and its warp engines detonate you can say farewell to a small continent, because when they go off its creates a small star kilometers wide. And why is a battleship class vessel without its escort of destroyers or frigates. Dont get me wrong there is no stories about astra militarum or imperial navy and this could be change from space marines stories. Thou making one will be kinda tricky because how large astra militarum is you have to take in commisariat, enginseers, navigators, techpriest. I just hope you have read few books about them to know them fully if you havent i recommend Ciaphas cain books they would give better in sight if you need one.
Are they elysian drop troops because l don't know eny other regiment ho would drop their full regiment on valkyries, well okey there is harakoni warhawks but still. Wouldn't it be more usefull for regiment to be dropped on dedicated drop shuttles switch would carry full company and chimeras or salamander troop carries?

It is starting like a good story, and I cant say a bad word for your writing style, well balanced it is. I'm just afraid it is a gruesome task to write a full story treating both universes fairly and keeping a gripping level of detai. But I know that you already are aware of this, therefore I sincerely hope this can be next, more serious "Hearts of Iron" saga, it certainly starts as one :) Cant wait to see how you solved the first contact between Mankind and Ponykind!
