Well, let's start us off with two chapters of my own ship, because I'm pathetic! ;)

Trenderhoof cleared his throat. "I'm moving to Ponyville! Being the most interesting pony in Equestria is exhausting. I want to leave my exotic, exciting life behind and live on a farm!"

"WHAT?!" Applejack and Rarity exclaimed simultaneously.

Trying to appear calm, Applejack let out a forced chuckle. "Well, that's real nice, but Ah sure hope ya weren't thinkin' o' Sweet Apple Acres."

The tall stallion deflated in an instant. "Oh," he muttered, crestfallen.

Great. Ah made him sad. Applejack's eyes darted shiftily as she attempted to find a way out of this situation. "Uh, look, yore a fine pony, but, uh, well, Ah'm, uh..." She took a deep breath. There was nothing for it but to tell the truth and hope that he understood. "Ah'm taken."

Trenderhoof's pupils dilated. "Buh..."

"Meanin', Ah got a super-hot marefriend who's gonna come in here an' kick yore flank if she sees ya droolin' after me," Applejack finished with a tiny smile as Rarity smirked next to her.

Rainbow Dash suddenly popped out of nowhere. "You got THAT right, babe!"

So this seems like an interesting concept.... I like it!

Just wondering, it's been a while since you posted a new capter on "Our year" and I wonder if you've given up on it or just don't know what to write?

Was this one of those cases where two people just have the exact same idea, or did that influence this one at all?
