Nightmare Moon is a powerful mare. She is a very powerful, very crafty mare, with more intelligence and wisdom in her left hoof than most other ancient beings have in their whole bodies. So why was she so easily defeated? The answer- she wasn't. Her sister may have overpowered her with the Elements, but she was close in power levels to begin with. What could six little ponies do? The answer- Nothing.
Twenty years after that crushing defeat, Twilight wakes up from her slumber to find a Diamond Dog trying to free her from her imprisonment. In the following days, she learns what has happened in her absence, and uses what little knowledge she actually acquired over her twenty year imprisonment to make the monumental task of defeating Nightmare Moon ever so slightly easier.
Thankfully, she has access to all her 'old' friends, as well as a few old 'villains' to make the journey at least bearable. Her new 'niece's' crazy inventions are sure to make things easier in the long run, if those holes in the wall are any indication.
If only her brother weren't such a douche.

Hmm tis rushed my good author, much of this needed to be stretched out and slowed a bit and some bits explained. Yes indeed.
However despite the rushed natured I must say you have quipped my interests my good man and i shall see where you are taking this little story of yours.

7440743 the interactions were decent, twas just the pacing that was a bit fast as a lot of that should jsbe been draens out such as Twilights disorientation and the like as well as most likely trying to figure things out.
And since they said her I'm guessing Cadence. Also not sure why they would discuss that fact like Twilight should know any of them since she's been asleep for 20 years according to them so the talk about the married I don't understand.
Also I am.most curious to see why NMM daughter paused when she saw Twilight and then left rather then stopping them like she clearly planned originally. You have definitely made an interesting story with only a few issues in it.
As for gender more common to run into males on the net so I just call everyone sir till informed otherwise

Still not sure why they would have that convo at all unless they knew ehst twilight had been dreaming about some how. Other wise its a somehwst weird time to talk about any of that as there was no prompting for it.
As I said I've noticed a few things that could be improved upon but over all it is a good story so far.

Well....twilight took finding out a good chunck of her life never happened and was just a dream rather well....I'd have expect her ton freak out, deny what is happing to be reality or possiblly have some form of existential crisis.
And she took seeing enemies of hers rather well.....I am predicting a massive break down in the near future.
