Introducing WWII into such a subject isnt the problem. When handled well and respectably an AU where Equestria experiences something akin to WWII isnt impossible at all.

I think the biggest problem with it so far is how they are OC x Mane 6 shipping in what seems to be a rather bad way. Thats not impossible either, just difficult. Then again I havent read this yet so it could disrespect the bloodiest war in all of human history a lot or try to introduce magic into it or something. I doubt its the latter however as it seems to be about PTSD, another subject that should be handled respectably.

Well regardless this author seems to have made two others anyways so I doubt they really listen to that specific complaint no matter how justified.
