It's date night for your parents. Which means you have a babysitter watching you tonight. Yet, this babysitter is different from the others. She's Princess Cadance, the newly crowned royalty-in-training. She loves her job. Perhaps, too much.
7131765 I've heard it's supposed to allow the reader to imprint themselves better into the story but I don't really understand that. Since Anon is short for Anonymous, it's whoever you want it to be. Personally I've never been able to read it as anything else but Anon so it's lost on me.
Tartarous in Greek Mythology is far more complicated than the Christian Hell. It is is a place for all dead and those that defied the gods. And in Greek Mythology the God's are the assholes. So in reality it's more of a purgatory than a Hell. And in essence a prison created for all creatures that cannot be slain, and pose a threat.
7133303 Actually no. The gods of ancient Greece are more akin to very powerful humans. The best I can say is that according to the Greek "Tragedy" plays is that gods have passions, sins, wants, they lust, they need, yada yada yada. People in ancient Greece made gods more like their own image so they can "relate" to Zeus when e.g. they were infidel or something. 7126248 Now to the point of Tartarus. It's worse than hell. It's hell, it's purgatory, it's generally cruel, torture, and eternal. Sisiphus, Tantalus, and the rest that dwell there have committed crimes of the highest caliber. Like offering their dead children to gods to eat. They are downright evil and deserve what they get.
However Tartarus here is a prison. Not hell. The same tortures that occur in Greek Tartarus don't occur in MLP Tartarus. Don't forget that.
Though I do sometimes imagine that Tartarus is far more vast like the Underdark in DnD.
They generated as stream of rainbow light as they pushed open the door
Some of the wording throughout kind of tripped me up. However I dont think it was an incorrect choice. This one though just seems like it should lose the s.
This a typo?
What's worse than Hell?
Oh, it's gonna be a human-turned-pony story...

Nicely done

Idk why they use it though.
