OK This crossover I have not seen on this site like at all (a little disappointed about that) So I figure I might try to be the pioneer. This will be a short fic (or i intend it to be) with laughs and dumbstruck ponies. I recommend reading or watching Durarara if for no other reason than I don't trust myself to do it justice.

What does ikebukuro mean?

I honestly don't know but in the case of this story it's the name of the town/city from the anime Durarara. Real life Ikebukuro is a town within the city Tokyo if i remember right.

I'll have to dig deeper to find the meaning of the name its self but i think kuro at the end there means black. but again i'll have to look it up.

Honestly this story should have been put on hiatus or canceled. I'd love to continue it but the way I started and the direction I initially wanted it to go would not have done the characters justice. If anything I might re-edit this and make it a short comedic story with fluttershy being passed around Ikebukuro before reappearing in equestria by herself. With the developments of durarara x2 and something I should have noticed first and foremost was that I can't take these characters out of Ikebukuro. The city is and surrounding plot line are so ingrained into the characters that it feels wrong to remove one from the other. I could re-write it so that only Shizuo, celty, Shinra and maybe Kyohei's group as their personalities and characteristics don't really revolve around the city as much as Mikado and his friends. However without Izaya the groups dynamic really falls apart. I'd have to replace Izaya with someone, and the closest I can think of would be discord and lets be honest discord is no Izaya by a long shot. Not to mention I don't even think I can really capture there personalities because they are just that eccentric. But for now since I have time and it's being brought up i'll drop it to hiatus maybe I can think of something but honestly I've been drawing a blank.
