Totally not freaking out here...
So, this is the first fic I've really written with the intent of showing it to other people and I wrote this to submit to EQD's Friend-Off this year. I'm not going to fish for complements or anything, but I am going to do the cliche "new writer" and say that if you did read it, please let me know what you thought! I promise I have a thick skin, so be brutal!
Also, hopefully the formatting is acceptable. I've read a few fics on here, but I'm never sure I quite have the formatting quite right (plus, Google Docs wants to keep messing it up).

You really need to change the description of this story to, you know, an actual description of the story.
What frizzy said, also unessecary cliffhanger is unessecary.
If you wanted to fulfill the title congrats. Mission accomplished. If you was going for a story I say this looks incomplete. (It's a great first chapter but a lot is missing.)
Hello! Have a review. Looking at what happens as the CMC grow up isn't a bad idea for a fic. Its main problem is that it feels like the prologue to a story rather than a story in itself.
