That was a pretty good, short story with some provided depth on Luna's inner guilt. I liked it. Your almost-metaphorical style of writing is enjoyable to read. I suppose it's worth it to check on those new stories every now and then. Found a good one, right here.

A nice short story exploring a concept, but I feel that it simply ended without any real closure. It simply presented an idea, and then faded away. If we had dug deeper into Luna's retrospective, her feelings, and perhaps into the secrets that some ponies keep hidden away, I think it would have felt more complete. As it is, it's a nice collection of words, but there's isn't much of a story. It's just an event, a singular occurrence with no resolution.

Pretty much, mate. One of my favorite ways to write is in short scenes that leave a lot of things unsaid, because I think it encourages people to think about the piece (even if that thought is "why didn't I like this?" that's still cool with me.). From where I sit, I'll take your comment as praise. ^_^
