Question: When TOACEM restarts, will I be lost if I don't read this?
Please don't be offended. I like your stories, that's why I follow you. I've read the prolouge and I thought it was pretty good.
I just don't like Tyrant Celestia stories. They just don't sit well with me.
Will this story have stuff that I'll need to know for the conclusion of TOACEM?

It'll tie into TOACEM here and there, but they're stand-alone stories.
This won't have much to do with tyrant Celestia, either. She went temporarily insane with power. After banishing her sister, that insanity left her. I believe the thousand years affected Celestia as much as it did Luna. She's not going to be a tyrant in this, but her guards will still be looking for members of the Lunar Republic. As she stated, having two factions in one country will spark war.
Aaanyway, Zedd's going to send the occasional letter back, but (if they all arrive) you'll know what they say. The only one I have planned is that the reason she was at the Hearth's Warming Eve play is because Zedd was going to be there. Something like that.
I'd recommend reading this. It's only going to follow Zedd, Bazz, and Spectrum Wonder as they prepare for the Summer Sun Celebration to free Luna.

tl;dr no, but read Operation Luna anyway.

Nyeur, she'll be mentioned, but no. Probably not. Operation Luna is focusing on Zedd, Bazz, and Spectrum's parts in Luna's return to Equestria.

Quite an air of mystery you have going here. I would suggest you be a little more detailed about who says what, though. Some parts were a little confusing because of that.

‘I’m sorry.’
They had been walking in silence since they left the club. Zedd had asked what was wrong as they were leaving the club, but Bazz just shook his head and kept walking with an impassive look on his face.
‘What for?’
‘I sort of killed the atmosphere in the club with my little episode.’
‘Episode? I don’t know what you think you did, but all I saw was you walking to be by yourself. Everypony does that from time to time.’
‘Yeah, but still… you deserve to at least know why.
‘I’ve been in love before, Zedd. ...
I thought the speakers were the other way around until that last line.
I guess that was the only one.
Also, you could be a little more descriptive as they say things. Describe their tone, facial expressions and body language. It is rather tedious, but it paints a better picture of the story you want to portray.
Finally, I don't know if this is just an Australian thing and I'm being an ignorant American or what, but instead of using the word 'buck' so much, you might try 'stallion' or 'colt'

Hmm... right... I'll move that around.
I try to mention who's saying every five lines at most, but sometimes I forget. I mean, if it's a conversation between two people... whatever, changing it. Thanks for pointing that out :3
I was also only using buck because I see it like this:
Colt = horse that's younger than three years old
Buck = horse equivalent of "Boy" or "Guy"
"Don’t worry! A lot of bucks like drinking them..." = "A lot of guys like drinking them..."
Stallion = Horse older than three
...And because I only just learned the word...
I have a habit of overusing new words xD
