After the events of The Washouts, Lightning Dust crash lands on the Pie family rock farm, and finds she has little choice but to work off the damage her crash caused.

Limestone Pie always prides herself on getting the best gifts possible for everypony, except for one pony who seems to constantly prove impossible: Pinkie Pie. This Hearth's Warming, Limestone is determined to break the curse and get her cheerful sister a gift that shows how much she's appreciated.

There's just one problem, Limestone doesn't have a clue what to get for somepony as cheerful and outgoing as Pinkie. So, after consulting with Marble, Limestone takes advantage of a scheduled trip to Ponyville to visit Maud and ask her.

Can Marble and Maud help Limestone find the right gift for Pinkie in time?

Marble has always felt like the odd pony out in her family, and that she would not accomplish much in her life, this all change one fateful day when she joined a meeting of the "United Rock Workers," a socialist union of rock workers.

Watch as the sister of Pinkie Pie overcomes her insecurities, makes new friends, and finds her strenght in flight... and communism.

The Pie family lived on a small rock farm, until a misfortunate event caused the family to split apart, with the father, Igneous Rock, staying on the rock farm with his two daughters, Maud Pie and Marble Pie. While the mother, Cloudy Quartz, moved to Ponyville with the other two daughters, Limestone Pie and her youngest daughter, Pinkie Pie, who might just be out of her mind.

Trixie is celebrating the new year when suddenly everypony stops moving. She finds Spitfire and Limestone who also remain unfrozen and together they travel to try and restart time, but on their travels they realise there is a lot more wrong than they initially thought...

Through a set of circumstances that seemed like they came out of a bad novel, Spitfire finds herself in the middle of a snowstorm. Then it gets worse... and worse... until she wakes up in the dark, and find somepony staring.

Late giftmas exchange for This silly pone

The Pie siblings were some of the most interesting and underused characters in G4, in my opinion. I particularly wanted to do a story focused on Limestone, the most underrated and forgotten of the Pie siblings. "The Pie siblings help Pinkamena" is an alternate take on "Yakity Sax" where the Pie siblings come to Yakyakistan to help cheer up Pinkamena. I also included Octavio Pie, because he's fabulous, but other than that, the story could fall within the world of MLP:FiM. It's not really connected to Pony Life. The story is appropriate for all ages; there is no sexual content, swearing, or violence. It does, however, touch on dark themes about depression, so use some discretion. But if you can watch MLP:FiM, you'll be fine reading "The Pie siblings help Pinkamena."
