After what had happened in Metropolis involving hair Pinkie Pie goes back to Chicago to finish her studies but it would seem that crime never takes a vacation...or does it?

Rarity is helping Pinkie Pie pack for a week trip she's going with her boyfriend Cheese Sandwich. Even though she's supposed to be helping Pinkie Pie pack she gets distracted by giving Pinkie Pie her best relationship advice.

Story One: The electrified tension between the past and present
After a drunken question on how to become braver, Pinkie Pie hands her a horror novel with the advice to keep in mind that it is only a story, but when a pony off the edge of the forest bears a striking resemblance to the pony in the story, Fluttershy realizes the worst.

Aiko was driven to madness by a powerful artifact known as the Blood Emerald. Then the emerald caused him to kill all of his friends in sight. Pinkie Pie managed to escape the rampage, but was heartbroken afterwards. Now it's up to the pink party pony to free her beloved hedgehog from the darkness that lies within the Blood Emerald. Even if she have to die trying.

Three ponies, none of any special abilities, during a simple dance show, chance upon somepony unheard of to the normal life. And as their life begins to unravel at the seams, assassinations are slowly taking place, nobles are dying, the rich are mysteriously vanishing, only to wind up somewhere else, dead. Entire villages froze over for months on end, only to melt and everypony missing. The four Princesses have no idea what to do, and the environment is spiraling down- not only the random snow falls, but the seasons were changing slowly, as if something was stopping it from happening.
In the middle of it all, was 'Lady P', leading her band of misfits and undesirables against the Princesses, the nobles, and all of Equestria.

It had been some time since Twilight had hung out with her other friends. And then Twilight decided to choose a Pinkie Pie dare.

Twilight Sparkle wants a burger. So does Rainbow Dash. And they were lesbians. Except it was all a story written by Maud. But they're still lesbians.
