Twilight Sparkle had never been one for religion. But as a scientist, she prides herself on being willing to re-examine a topic when presented with new information. And being purified of a demonic transformation by a figure who could only be described as angelic was very compelling evidence.

There's just one problem: turns out Sunset doesn’t think she deserves such a lofty status.  

A gigantic bug in a colorful suit should not be the individual one goes to in order to seek input for whether one was considered "good" or "bad," and why. But unfortunately for Queen Chrysalis - sorry, "Santa Chrys" - she was in range, and she was "available."

Luna has questions. Someone's got to answer them, and/or someone's got to pay.

When Starlight Glimmer refuses Twilight's offer of friendship, only quick thinking from Spike saves them from being stranded in an apocalyptic future. Fed up with their cat and mouse game, Twilight Sparkle decides to go back to the day Starlight lost her only friend and set things right. The consequences turn out to be more severe than she could have imagined.

Now, trapped together in a dead-end timeline, Starlight's mind is fracturing from the effects of the spell, and she'll have to work with Twilight to put the world back to normal– if only so she can finish what she started.

Crossover with the Owl House focusing on a partially redeemed Sunset Shimmer that has been stuck right in the thick of things with the Owl House plot. How bad can one former unicorn screw things up?
