Darkness.
Darkness is how many stories begin their adventure. It is a sad truth one must recognize when we talk about mine.
I am commonly known to be the Evil Tyrant. Former Scholar and King of the crystal empire.
People under my rule and the peers before me had suffered the might from my hand and for many years. From forced labor and slavery like laws, I dragged the kingdom through despair.
Hope seemed to spark when the princesses from the south came to liberate it from my rule. How dreadfully naive of them to think that it would work. Even though I was defeated, the kingdom was set with a spell for such a result.
Something that my old mentor Star Field was fiddling with. He used it as a means to escape my grasp. Time Travel if I'm not mistaken. Though advance as the spell was, no one could go back in time, only forward.
Most of the soldiers under my control was inside, biding their time until that happened, though I would not be surprised if some were left, or if some from their army became stowaway's.
No matter, my defeat was severe, and I was turned into a shadow-being known as a "shade".
Though that was supposed to be my death, since I can't die normally anymore, I have to be killed by other means.
Means that the princesses didn't have during the time, so they did the next best thing and forced me into an ice prison in a mountain somewhere.
I couldn't stop them if I tried, but that was no concern of mine then. I waited to have my magic grow once more, and while I could have broken out of the ice prison later, I waited for the empire to return before I did.
To be honest, those were torturous days. Waiting for something over one thousand years with no one to talk to will strain your sanity. I'm surprised I had any left.
But as the fool that I was, I stared at the empire when it came back. And just a moment later as it came, so did the pink bubble protecting it.
Yes, I spaced out.
My rage came and snapped me out of it. I then started going after the empire, whaling on the shield as best as I could for days on end.
While I did taunt the Head Guard whenever he showed himself. I let, what during the time I thought was commoners, run into the empire. That was the best mistake I ever made.
They managed to help the empire and retrieve the crystal heart. Passing through whatever traps I had set. Regardless of what anyone thinks, even I would have to make applause for them.
Though I will admit that it was extremely close, even I thought I would have won that day. It was thanks to the Head Guard's Powerful toss that the new Ruler was able to change the outcome.
When the princess took possession of the heart, she channeled its magic force directly at me.
And so would be my second defeat, Destroying me in a magical induced explosion.
Yet I am still not dead.
Nor am I wishing for revenge.
I am honestly grateful, as the dark magic I have no longer possesses me into doing evil deeds that I once did.
Though I wish to atone for my sins, I could not go back to the empire.
I knew that my mistakes would not be fixed if I did. At best I would be held in the dungeon, at worst I would be banished to the moon.
But I am getting ahead of myself.
Let us start with my first awakening.
So I've been mulling over way to many fic's and I thought "why not?" and make my own?
I have no idea how to write Descriptions to mirror my story.
Another Sombra Fic! Woow. Everyone is human, so its (hopefully) easier for me.
I hope its good for your standards cause I have no Idea what I'm doing.
