This is the first full length story I had ever legitimately put to paper. It is for my OC Brazen Voice in my freshman year of College as Season 3 of FIM was airing. It is set in distant countries far away from Equestria, but still inhabited by ponies, in a history similar to our own with similar historical events, and briefly including Doctor Whooves. Even a 'Great Changeling War' modeled after WWI that Brazen Voice came from. It may have not aged well, the grammar has mistakes, typos, and unpracticed German, but it is an important stepping stone for me that I had always meant to share with the community. Some of the friends I depict in as their own OC's in this story are no longer on speaking terms with me, But I still keep in close touch with some. I had written a great deal more than this for this character as a sort of artistic outlet while I was in a very rigorous engineering and science school. If readers like this story, I'd gladly post a few more, some of which are much longer. And include a bit more insight to his relation with the Doctor.
