Sometimes we choose who we fall in love with, sometimes life chooses for us. Minuette and Limestone Pie find themselves coming to grips with the latter.

Note: This takes place after the series finale. More specifically, after Twilight's coronation, but before the time skip, so expect a few spoilers. Also features Lyra, Sweetie Drops (or Bonbon), Moondancer, Twilight Sparkle, Princess Luna, Cloudy Quartz, September (y'know, the comic background cameo from Fringe), and doubtless many more in the future the way things are going. I even plan on big things happening for and to some of them.

Igneous Rock Pie is a young stallion trying to juggle the responsibility of caring for his sick father and keeping his family farm afloat. Cloudy Quartz is a young mare trying to live out her destiny even if it opposes her parents' expectations. They are two very different ponies living under very different circumstances. But at least they both like rocks.

Maud Pie is a simple pony in a complicated world filled with nearly-impossible-to-understand creatures. Why don't others just say what they mean instead of using all those unnecessary words? Why don't they understand her when she says exactly what she means? If she tries to provide proper context to help them, they get bored. Still, she tries her best to be clear and make herself understood, even in the face of questions whose context is most of her life and the geological history of the world. In those little pauses before she speaks, Maud thinks fast. This is one such question.

The Pie Rock Farm's 2 residents live a mundane life. Igneous Rock Pie tends to and harvests the rocks, and Cloudy Quartz seeds, classifies, and exports them. Their routine had remained unchanged for years, save for the occasional holiday, until one day. Igneous finds a cave. Will the depths of its stony halls prove to be a boon to the Pie family?
Or its doom?

Premise based on the story of Floyd Collins, and, of course, Man in Cave.

Pinkie hosts a game show, and somehow she knows the ‘Let’s take a Quiz’ rules and stuff.

Pinkie Pie, or Pinkamena Diane Pie, had gotten her cutie mark by throwing a party. Her family even cracked a smile at it, which was very rare. In fact, that was the first time Pinkie had ever seen them smile.

However, her cutie mark shows another path that her parents must speak about.
